Good Hauler/Cargo Bike

I take my kid to school before commuting to work. Works great. He's a 3 year old and holds on fine with the Orbitor railing. I can get up to 30 mph on the flat pretty easily. I was hoping I'd get SOME exercise riding the bike, but I can't pedal fast enough to keep up with that. You have the option to adjust speed, but it's too easy to just bump it up to the top speed. Other times, we load up both kids to go places. Works great!

Meh Hauler

Bought the yellow banana several weeks ago. Over 100 miles and sharing my thoughts. The cadence sensor is dangerous. When turning you must downshift pedal assistance to 1 or 0 so when you pedal in the turn it doesn't jump throwing you from the bike. The aluminum side panel is awesome for rear riders, but makes mounting anything an engineering mission. I modified a lectric plus1 seat and used m5 screws to attach to hauler cargo area. It's amazing but that sucked up the rear cargo. So running with a waterproof duffle bag saddled of the plus1 and making it work. Now, the batteries are funny in that you do not have sensor for each. You turn on auxiliary when main is 50% and then auxiliary off when at 30% and hope the main gets you back. I am getting an honest 25 miles with about 40% on main with 350 lbs added between two riders. The pedal assistance + - controller is angled in poor angle when you move handles forward for 6ft rider. That can cause wrist pain when riding distance. The breaks are good, but like all heybikes, required significant adjustments to get working without interference from rotor during operations. I wasn't paid for the review and would add pictures and video if was. It's an OK hauler. Buy it for the price and ride it everywhere.

Solid hauling ebike, but there is room for improvement.

I am really enjoying this ebike, although, it reminds me more of a moped which is not a bad thing. Love all the added features like the side foot rests in back, the utility side panels and the powerful motor to name a few. There are a few things I would like to see improved. For one, telescoping handlebars would be a welcome addition. I'm a 6'1" dude and I had to buy extra hardware to get the handlebars up as high as I need them. I asked HeyBike support about this and I was told I would hear back on some solutions, but that never happened. Since I did raise the handlebars the headlight wire will not reach so I am now trying to figure out what extension cable to buy to make that work. Another improvement would be suspension. Compared to the Ranger S I feel bumps in the road a lot more on this ebike. It would be great if the Hauler got better suspension/shock absorption like the Ranger S. One thing I really like a lot better on this bike than the Ranger S is the seat. Much more comfortable. Overall, the Hauler is a lot of fun to take on long rides where the Ranger S just can't reach. If HeyBike ever makes a dual battery Ranger S, I'll be sure to get in line for that one.

Love this bike!

Shipped quickly and secured in a huge box. Fairly easy to assemble. Did take to a bike shop to check my assembly over and tighten everything. Runs great and is a very comfortable ride! Thank you
