Fortis Shift™ Handstop integrates form with functionality. The shape works as a comfortable handstop when going with the thumb over method or even when reversed. Some prefer their pinky in the groove, others have found their ring finger to be comfortable. Find the grip that works for you, but whichever way you decide to grip it, the grip allows you to handle the weapon with confidence and the organic design enables the operator to manipulate the rifle in ways that’s not quite possible with other handstop designs. s. However, the only drawback I found is that it only comes with ONE Locking MLOK Bolt & Nut! Anyone who uses MLOK has experienced the frustration of having a nut back off the inside portion of the rail, and unless you use Loctite it's bound to happen to these nifty Hand Stops at some point. Mine came off TWICE while shooting and even fell forward of the Firing Line once. I realize these are Small for a reason but if Fortis had a TWO MLOK Point of contact setup I'd feel much more confident and give it a 5th Star. Wishful thinking right? Semper Fi !!
