Needed to use the supplied 30.9 adapter. Stock seat appeared to not have wide enough rails, but I loosely attached 1 rail then completely took apart the clamp on other side. Then put back together with the rail and it fit perfectly. Suspension adjustment at bottom of pole is 6mm Allen.
Hi Shawn,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the Aventon Suspension Seatpost. We're glad to hear that it fits your Pace 500.3 and the stock seat with the supplied 30.9 adapter. We appreciate your tip on loosely attaching one rail and taking apart the clamp on the other side for a perfect fit. And yes, the suspension adjustment at the bottom of the pole is done with a 6mm Allen key. Thank you for choosing Aventon and happy riding!

Had it for a month and am loving it. Only thing that was annoying is the rear breaks were really squeaking. Where I purchased it, they did not break in the breaks or tell me to do it. Once I figured out that, problem solved (i hope). If not, I will have the place I purchased from check it out at their 90 day inspection. I am 5'8" and got the large size. Seems to fit really well. I did swap out the hand grips for better ones and added a phone holder, which is great in that you can watch/track your ride with the GPS and the app.
Hi Jeff!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our Level 3 Step Through Ebike. We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying it overall. We apologize for the annoyance with the squeaky rear brakes, but we're glad to hear that the issue was resolved by breaking them in. If the problem persists, please don't hesitate to come back to us for assistance. We're always here to help and we'll make sure to address it during your 90-day inspection. We are also glad to hear you were able to customize to fit your needs!
Happy Riding!
I've enjoyed electric bikes for years, and I decided to get a cargo e-bike to ferry two kids to/from school and out and about. There are surprisingly few instructions or even photos of transporting children on these things. Suffice it to say, the full passenger kit for the Abound LR + backrest provide a comfortable seat/restraint for two smaller children while providing enough space for the rider up front. The power on the motor is also impressive as I can make it up steep hills with two kids in tow (~100lbs) and some effort. The bike feels sturdy, handles reasonably well (considering its size), and I especially appreciate that it has the leg guards and foot boards built in--I think it's obvious the LR will be used as a kid-hauler.
If I could improve anything it's that the stock seatpost is a bit short for me to get full extension on pedals at 6'1". I might change out the stock seatpost though it's not urgent. Another minor quibble is that the foot boards make it difficult to attach (and detach) a trailer as I use with my other e-bikes. But that's far from a deal-breaker, and it really is only because the foot boards get in the way.
All in all the kids love it, and I enjoy it enough that I sometimes use it solo to run errands. The built in kickstand lock + app makes it easy for me to lock it in place for a quick trip into the grocery store or similar. At the price especially this is an excellent overall bike and easy to recommend! Well done to Aventon.
Hi There!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed and positive review for our Abound LR Ebike. We are thrilled to hear that it has been an excellent kid hauler and cargo bike for you. We understand that there may be limited instructions and photos for transporting children on e-bikes, so we are glad to hear that our full passenger kit and backrest have provided a comfortable experience for you and your little ones. We also appreciate your feedback on the seatpost and foot boards, and we will definitely take that into consideration for future improvements. We are happy to know that both you and your kids are enjoying the bike, and we hope it continues to serve you well for many more adventures.
Thank you again for choosing Aventon!
Well the bike performs awesome great ride feel all around. The range has many variables and just getting to learn them. For long distance rides with lots of hills and lots of assist be ready for range anxiety. Remember it is a bike not a motorcycle. Definitely feel good about all the app features, bike lock is a great plus and easy to navigate even for an old dog like me. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable cruiser in all conditions. Going to get another battery to relieve the range anxiety. Besides that I can’t find anything. Thanks Aventon!
I’ll post again after burning man.

I’m a 69 year old male who has been riding an Aventure since mid 2021. I’m 6’1” and 190 lbs. I’m not really a bike rider. Certainly not a Mountain Bike Rider. Actually I’m a motorcyclist. I started down sizing my motorcycles to lighter versions (because lighter is more FUN) until I decided an e-bike would be a good next step plus I would also get more exercise. Aventure: 73 lbs plus about 45lbs of necessary extras (2 racks, front trunk & canine navigator). That makes a pretty cumbersome ride-granted ,not all the bikes fault. But even at around 120 lbs that’s way lighter than anything with an engine that I could fit on.The Aventure has been a great bike and I will keep riding it when I ride with my wife, who has the step through Aventure , and our dog (Ghita) that rides on my bike. As good as the Aventure has been in the 2000 miles I’ve put on it ; I wanted more….and less. What more could I want? More agility. More muscle. And more advanced hardware. Of coarse the “less” I want is weight. I don’t need to list all the hardware on the Ramblas-read any review and all the testers will gush about all the quality parts that make up this bike ,especially considering the price. So it’s a capable machine at only 53 lbs -half the weight I’m used to.
I ride about half paved roads / bike paths and half gravel roads. I will attempt a trail occasionally but I’m too old for that kind of shenanigan. The Ramblas is a whole different animal than the Aventure. I’ve never had a dropper seat post but the more I use it the more I like it. To be comfortable on the Aventure I had to raise the handlebars and put on a Cloud 9 seat with a suspension seat post. I definitely had to raise the bars on the Ramblas (because: old, bony butt, back and neck issues) but I can’t figure out why I’m just fine with the narrow saddle and no suspension post. The Ramblas handles more “twitchy” but I’m sure it was designed for quick turns. The brakes are flat out amazing! And did I mention only 53 lbs?! For a bike with a motor and battery pack that’s just unbelievable. I like the tune able riding modes. I kind of miss the thumb throttle- it is handy on the Aventure to get it rolling ,but not really necessary on the Ramblas. I miss the shifter indicator while on the Ramblas but getting used to it. I gotta say the Ramblas is more of a workout in a good way. My 1st generation Aventure has 5 assist levels but I almost always ride in level 1 and it’s the” peddle assist” system. The Ramblas is 3 “Torque Sensor”modes-Eco,Trail and Turbo. It’s hard to understand unless you ride them both. With the Aventure, when you start peddling the assist immediately kicks in. It seems like every assist level gets you about 5 mph for the same amount of effort. With the Ramblas, you get a little assist when you start peddling but the harder you peddle the more assist you get. I ride the Ramblas in Trail most of the time. My every day 3 mile route is down into a valley and back up in a loop that’s a mile of pavement and 2 miles of gravel road. I’d use Eco if I was on level road but there isn’t much “level “ around my area. When I get more confident on the new bike I plan to attempt a gravel hill on a side road called Snake Hill. I have no doubt that Turbo will be coming into play. All in all, if I could only have one bike - and I didn’t need to accommodate my canine riding buddy- I think I’d have to take the Ramblas. Lighter really is better…

Thank you,
Aventon
I really like what aventon has done here. First the bike is beautiful and capable. A fantastic combination. The 500 watt motor I was initially uncertain of, I have been proven happily wrong. That coupled with the 27x2's this bike is efficient. The suspension seat post just makes everything that is good, even smoother. The ACU in all the new bikes is a big plus too. 20 a year is a small price to pay for that added protection.
Hi Logan!
Thank you for your positive feedback on our Pace 4 Step Through Ebike! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the design and capabilities of the bike. We put a lot of effort into creating a beautiful and efficient ride for our customers. We're also glad that the 500 watt motor and 27x2 tires are working well for you. And the suspension seat post and ACU are definitely added bonuses.
We appreciate your support and hope you continue to have a great experience with our ebike. Happy riding!
Hello! Thank you for your kind words about our Aventure 2 Step-Through Ebike! We're so happy to hear that you are enjoying the top-notch quality and exceptional service that we strive to provide for all of our customers. Keep on riding and exploring with ease!
Order a LEV3L 3 for the wife and I, it's nice to be out again. Getting up there in years, Aventon makes it possible for me to take on what lies on the road ahead, no matter how steep. If I don't have it in me or my knees say otherwise, with the press of the throttle I can make it to the top and keep on keeping on. Great e-bike, even better customer service, without question.
Hi There,
Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing our Level 3 ebike. We are thrilled to hear that it has made biking more enjoyable for you and your wife. Our goal at Aventon is to make biking accessible for all and we are happy to know that our product and customer service have met your expectations. Happy riding!
Best,
Aventon
Love my Aventurer! this is more of a question. My bike is just starting its 4th year. I notice my range is decreasing as normally I can coax 20-25 miles per trip with ease and that is my preferential ride length. Always the same roads so no variance there. I am down to 15-20. Is this fairly normal for a 3+ year old battery. Should I consider a new battery. My bike is always stored in a heated environment under ideal conditions and I do not ride in sub 45 degree temps.
Hi Rich , thank you for your review and for sharing your experience with our Aventurer bike. We're glad to hear that you love it!
To answer your question, yes, it is normal for battery life to decrease over time, especially after 3+ years of use while taking in mileage into account. For more in depth questions or explanations, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team for assistance. Thank you for being a loyal Aventon customer!
Ive ridden this bike as my primary transportation for over a year in an urban area that is not bike friendly at all. Its amazing. I am 6'3 and 250lb and can ride this bike hard and it holds up with no issues at all. Regular maintenance and this bike seems like it'll last forever. I've even wrecked on it a few times and it barely scratches and then keeps going like nothing happened. I had a $4000 Gazelle before and it was nowhere near as cool or functional as this bike.
Only caveat is the wheel wells are very shallow so you're stuck with flat road tires. I got rock hard road tires and have had no issues.
Hi Alec,
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review for our Soltera 2.5 Ebike! We are so thrilled to hear that it has been your primary transportation for over a year and it is working out great, even with regular use and the occasional accident. We take pride in creating durable and functional bikes, so it's great to hear that it has exceeded your expectations. We appreciate your feedback on the shallow wheel wells and will take it into consideration for future designs.
Thank you again for choosing Aventon and happy riding!
The Aventure 3 is my first e-bike & it’s even better than I expected. I did a lot of research for several months and was finally confident the Aventure was the e-bike I wanted. I patiently waited for the 3 to come out & quickly pulled the trigger once it did. I got two, one for me & one for my girlfriend. It’s so fun to ride & very comfortable. I was a bit worried about how heavy a **** tire ebike is but you don’t feel the weight when riding it. It glides & cruises with ease, a very smooth & easy to handle big bike. I’m really excited to enjoy more rides & adventures as the summer weather approaches. I couldn’t be happier.
The crew at The Outer Rim Bike Shop in Portland were awesome.
Cheers!
Thank you for your awesome review! We're so glad to hear that you're enjoying your Aventure 3 Ebike and that it exceeded your expectations. We put a lot of research and effort into creating the perfect e-bike, so we're thrilled that you and your girlfriend are both happy with your purchases.

Purchased this with our Abound LR's, gives the bike a utility look and feel to it. When loaded just make sure items are not longer then the handle bars. Perfect for ice chest I have found out.
Thank you for your review! We are glad to hear that the Aventon Pizza Front Rack is working well for your Abound LR. It's great to know that it adds a utility look and feel to your bike. Thanks for the tip about making sure items are not longer than the handle bars!
Happy riding!
This this is one of the best purchases iv made in probably 25 years. I really enjoy riding this.
I believe there is some adjustments i can do for the better like making it a little faster. Im right around 21 mph now. The seat is the only thing i need to upgrade and will. My touche lol is sensitive and i need a bigger more padded seat.
Other than these few things no issues yet and I am loving it
Hi Robert,

Thank you for choosing Aventon!
The 60mile range sold me but the turn signals make me feel safe. The throttle is a safety feature if used from a stop/stop light; it’s fun if you get tired and want a break from pedaling. Users manual alerted me to the need to remove the battery for indoor storage if bike is not used for more than 2 weeks. Charge time of 3 to 7 hours is reasonable. Manual recommends charging after every ride.
Hi Ellen,
Thank you for leaving a review for our Pace 500.3 Ebike! We're happy to hear that the 60-mile range and turn signals were a selling point for you. We understand the importance of safety and are glad to know that our bike provides that for you. The throttle is definitely a fun feature for when you need a break from pedaling
Thank you for mentioning the tip about removing the battery for indoor storage if the bike is not used for more than 2 weeks. We want to make sure our customers are well-informed.
We hope you continue to enjoy your ebike and Happy riding!
I usually ride high end, many thousand dollar mountain bikes and don’t really like road riding much, it was too boring. But I bought a pair of these bikes for my wife and I to ride around the neighborhood and our greenway trail system locally. I didn’t expect much as far as quality goes but was actually pretty impressed by the bikes! We live in Texas and struggled to want to ride our normal bikes in summer because of the heat. These E-Bikes make summer riding a breeze, pun intended lol. They keep us moving with ease and we stay much cooler on our rides and no longer dread summer rides. For those wondering about real world range, our longest ride ever was 59.40 miles on a single battery, it even had 6% left. For context, I’m a heavy rider at 225lbs, we carried another 10 pounds of gear, kept the assist in the lowest level and only throttled for very short periods. The path we were on only had an elevation change of about 800 feet by the end of the ride. I was truly stunned by the range. Speaking of the throttle, it’s such a great option. If you’re out and are too tired to pedal back or need to stand up on the pedals to give your butt a break, it will keep you moving. The only negative things I can really say are the fact that I’ve had 3 flats, always at a bad time that caused me to need to walk miles to get somewhere I could be picked up since we were on greenway paths. I’ve since started carrying tools and tubes. My tip would be to keep your tires inflated as high as allowed because of the bike weight. I would love tubeless ready wheels but that’s probably asking too much. Another negative is the bikes just look a little nerdy with the fenders and rack. That said, the fenders came in handy when we rode on a wet day and the rack is great for carrying a bag with tools and other stuff. The last thing is the bike’s weight. It’s not really an issue until you have to move them. We had to buy a special hitch carrier for these to make sure it was rated for the weight. We do remove the batteries while transporting them and bought Velcro covers to keep dust and water from getting into the battery compartment.
Overall, we’re really pleased with these bikes. We have so much fun speeding around on them. My wife rides with me so much more now! We’ve even started hitting the greenway in the evening, biking a good 10-15 miles to a restaurant and then pedaling back. It’s been a lot of fun. I’d love it if Aventon would consider some rear suspension one day. Nothing crazy but a little cushion would be nice.
Hi There!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review of our Level 2 Commuter Electric Bike. We are thrilled to hear that you and your wife are enjoying them and that they have made summer riding more enjoyable for you both.
We're also happy to hear that you were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our bikes. We understand that summer riding in Texas can be tough, but it sounds like our E-Bikes have made it much more manageable for you.
Thank you for sharing your real-world range experience with us. We're glad to know that our bikes can go the distance, even with a heavy rider and gear. And we agree, having the option of a throttle can be a game-changer on longer rides.
We understand that the weight of the bikes can be a bit of a challenge when moving them, but we're glad you were able to find a suitable hitch carrier for them.
Thank you again for your feedback and happy riding!

Was looking for a more upright ride- and this bike certainly delivered! So comfortable to ride, and barely need the pedal assist… but love it when I need it for these old knees! 😊
Hi Caroline,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review! We are thrilled to hear that you are loving your new Pace 500.3 Step-Through Ebike. We designed it with an upright ride in mind to provide maximum comfort for our riders. We're glad to hear that the pedal assist is coming in handy for those old knees.
Happy riding! 😊
I love this ebike adventure 2.
Been out and about on trails and on the road. Wide tires and motor give that constant pace while I still feel like getting a workout. I'm pushing 50 and my energy levels and joints are not what it used to be. I can now travel farther than ever before.
Well built strong welds, easy to assemble, and looks great. Comes with features other ebikes do not ie fenders and rear rack. Internal housing of electrical is well done and built in tale lights w/blinkers it nice. Kinda heavy 70lbs. but I expected that, I carry up and down only one flight of stairs so it's not that bad. It does have a 🚶♂️ walk bike feature which helps going up stairs.
I've yet to get morw than 30 miles on one charge if on eco mode with medium peddling. So, I will invest in a second battery. Sport mode medium peddling get about 22 miles with 20% battery left. Which shows map photo. Both street and trails with many hills.
Totally worth the money 💰 🤑 💸

I have owned my Adventon Adventure 2 for one year and have about 2500 miles on it. I ride only gravel roads. This bike is very solidly built and well designed. After one year, it still looks and rides like new. When shifted properly, it can pedal like a traditional bike, or you can throttle your way to a minimal-effort ride. Regardless of how you use it, this bike is a great ride. I highly recommend it.

I suffered too long with the stock seat post providing no protection what-so-ever.
This seat post was super easy to install and adjust. Thanks for the sleeve I needed for my Pace 500.
Riding now is like sitting next to an angel on a cloud. Thanks for this great product offering.
Adrian,

I have had the Abound SR for a bit over a month now. Coming from an Adventure 2, I wanted something that had the same power(750W). I wanted something a little bulky so I opted for the Abound SR. I am sure glad I did because this bike is great. I chose the black because I could accent with any color pedals or grips I choose. The added security measures are great feature but nothing replaces a good security lock. Overall, a super fun bike to ride and handles great. I just wish Aventon would offer a discount on accessories with a purchase. Wouldn’t mind having a spare battery like I did with my AA2.
Hi Joseph,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the Abound SR Ebike! We're so glad to hear that you're enjoying your new bike and that it has been a fun ride for you. We understand the importance of having a powerful bike, and we're happy to hear that the Abound SR meets your needs.
Thank you for choosing Aventon and happy riding!
I live in Okc and bought my AA2 at the end of last November as a Christmas present to myself. I have a 1000 miles on my bike now. I ride it everywhere I can. I ride my bike in eco mode most of the time. The bike has plenty of power to easily maintain 16 - 18 mph regardless of the wind or hills. If I am in a hurry, I can kick it into turbo mode and fly along at 28 mph. I am 5'11'' and got the step through regular sized bike. It fits me much better than the larger bike. I outfitted my bike with a bag equipped with two saddle bags. This is great for carrying home groceries. I recommend getting the seat post with a shock. It makes a big difference. I have never gotten saddle sore riding this bike with the shock post and factory seat. I also changed the handlebar stem to an adjustable one so I could raise the bar height to a more comfortable level. I regularly do 30 mile bike rides keeping my heartrate above 140. I usually have around 50% power left on the battery. So, yes you can get a good workout riding the bike. We have 100 miles of multiuse trails in the Okc area. I am looking forward to exploring them all. I have ridden this bike in snow, on dirt and gravel, and roadways. It handles them all very well. With all this said, I really enjoy this bike and definitely recommend it. Tedb

I saw an article on the internet about electric bikes and the Abound was one that was reviewed. I thought that would be a great bike to into town and get groceries and run around. I looked at them at a local bike shop back in November. I got an email from Aventon saying there would be a price increase due to tariffs so i pulled the trigger and bought one. I have had it a week and have put over 100 miles on it. Went grocery shopping and with the large rack I was able to get all my groceries on it and make it home safely. Only problem now is the wife rode it and now she wants an electric bike.
Hi David!,
Thank you for sharing your positive experience with the Abound LR Ebike! We're thrilled to hear that it has been a great option for getting around town and running errands.
