Product Description

Stay warm and sleep well while you're roaming the world with the Escapade 700 sleeping bag. Filled with 600 loft duck down encased in a Pertex® Quantum shell for lightweight weather resistance and breathability, the Escapade 700 is a great option for sleeping in mild temperatures.

It has a semi rectangular shape which offers excellent comfort and durability, and it easily tucks away into your luggage with the included compression stuff sack. The Escapade 700 also features side and foot zippers, allowing the sleeping bag to be opened up completely for indoor 'duvet' functionality. It can be zipped to another bag, and it's made in standard and women's-specific sizes, too.

This product contains RDS down certified by CU 1210688. The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) (independently) certifies down and feathers against animal welfare requirements and tracks it from farm to final product.

All Macpac down is independently certified to the RDS.

Care

To maintain loft store in a large mesh bag when not in use
Consider the environment and wash by hand only when necessary in cool water using pure, non-detergent soap or Nikwax® Down Wash Direct®
Do not machine wash
Handle with care when wet – do not twist or wring your bag
Rinse your bag several times then gently press out excess water
Dry your bag on a cool setting in a commercial tumble dryer (with tennis balls) or lay on a flat surface to air dry (in shade) over several warm days
While drying, periodically shake bag to gently break up clumps of down
Avoid overexposure to direct sunlight
Do not bleach, iron or dryclean

Great all round sleeping bag

Macpac Escapade 700 Extra Donw Sleepingbag

Excellent length and warmth! I choose the extra large sleeping bag, When it is to warm I can open the foot compartment or use it as a quilt. It is made from very good material and will last long. Shipped and delivered quick under very trying covid circumstances.

At top where your face comes out it is about 80cm closed, about 170cm opened. At bottom it is about 48cm closed, about 102cm opened.

I'm extreme 6ft 7" and I fit in it .. good enough to say it was comfortable... fully stretched out (about two inches of base fabric above my head and cover is good on top) Hope is helpful

What size does it pack down to in the stuff sack?

The packed dimensions are 32cm long and a 21cm diameter without a compression sack. If you were to pack down with one then this would bring the dimensions down to somewhere between 20-25cm while maintaining the 21cm diameter.

what is the hip width?

Hi Mike,

The hip width for the Extra Large Escapade 700 is approx. 86cm.
As it is a rectangular style sleeping bag with a slight taper through the footbox the hip is about the same width as the shoulder.
