Pros
I like everything about this Pump Air Rifle, came with 2 extra pellet mags, ammo, safety glasses, an some targets. Extremely satisfied with this I will be ordering again!
Cons
Me personally none
If you mount a red dot, you’ll have to get a riser for a UTG or remove the A-frame front sight post.
Pros
Price, reported velocity, adjustable stock, removable carrying handle assembly, 3 x pellet mags
Cons
Came with no mag or sight adjustment tool.
Fun pellet gun to shoot
Replaced my Pumpmaster with this rifle kit. Rifled barrel is much more accurate than the smooth bored Pumpmaster. Does it have a lot of plastic? Yes. My opinion, this is durable material, thick and textured. Example, I first thought the entire underside of the pump handle was a picatinny rail. Only front most portion is. I bought a separate flat bottomed rail, took down the raised ridges on bottom pump piece with a dremel tool, drilled through the bottom, added the rail with two 8-32 tapered head screws and locknuts, which are a perfect fit along the inside groove. No need for a wrench, nuts won’t turn inside groove. Tightened down rail securely. No cracking, chipping at all of plastic. This was all for adding a hand brake, which also turned out to be the perfect pump aid. Liked the authentic look of gun with the top hand rail. Sights take getting used to. Rear/handle sight is adjustable for both elevation and windage. My front sight was not adjustable for elevation, it was fixed and the kit didn’t come with any tool. Call to Crosman’s customer service went smoothly (they second to none), immediately an adjustable front sight and tool were in the mail. If your hands are big enough you can improve the velocity of this gun. There is no o ring or seal of any kind for the bolt probe so there’s a lot of air wasted on blowback. If you can keep your pointer finger on trigger and get your thumb up to the back of the bolt handle and keep it pushed forward while shooting I was getting 80 fps more than without pushing the bolt forward. Fun gun and you won’t find a better price than Airgun Depots.
Pros
Price, quality for price, accuracy
Cons
Upwards of 10 pumps it can get difficult
I have had this for a couple months now and don't really use it. I can't hit anything with it. This is due to the fact that I can not adjust the sight since it didn't come with the sight adjustment tool. There are also very sharp edges and the handle for the pump. Been a little disappointed.
Pros
Cheap.
Cons
Cheap.
I bought the rifle for the appearance then I tricked it out Bi-Pod, Scope w/mount, flash light I have it stored in a tactical carry bag. The adjustable butt stock is great. From a distance you can’t tell if it’s authentic AR and it shoots well 20 to 30 yard accuracy is great. You can’t go wrong buying a Crosman Rifle or Pistol. Another fantastic buy is the 2100 edition, you can’t find a bad thing to say about that rifle either 15 or 20 years back they had a Anniversary edition of the 2100 series that came with a wood stock. Wish they would bring that back.
Thanks Crosman,
Sal
Just a fun gun simple, highly accurate good for training my son and I love it
Grandkids love it.
I originally purchased this item for target practice. 5 pumps will put a BB thru a thin sheet of metal. I found out later that it is also good for pest control.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.can this gun shoot a Predator Polymag, .35 Cal, 81.01 Grains
asked Brandon from USANo, this gun only shoots .177 pellets and .177 bbs.
Matthew from USAWhere can I get a carry handle and replacement parts if I ever needed them
asked Jeff from CanadaAll parts would come from Crosman.
Mark from USAdose this require PAL
asked cory from CanadaThey do sell a Canadian version in Canada, shoots around 450 FPS
Jeff from CanadaWe can not ship the Crosman M4-177 to Canada, So yes you would need a PAL and purchase it thru a Canadian dealer.
Mark from USAhello, do you have to pump for every shot for this item (Crosman M4-177 Tactical Pump) ?
asked binoe from CanadaYes. Each shot will take multiple pumps.
Mark from USAWhat accessories are recommended for this?
asked AnonymousI found that if you mount a ; Lazer, flashlight, Lazer/flashlight combo on either the rail under the front site or the forearm pump handle. When you extend the forearm pump handle fully it hits one or the other rail. All said, any attachments will not work on this gun.
Armon from USAThis gun can have only really a scope, so any scope would be good.
Matthew from USAis it heavy and does it have any metal
asked drizzIts mainly plastic.
Matthew from USADoes this pack enough stopping power for an adult racoon? Got a problem brewing in my yard and need a quiet airgun to shoot trapped (paw cuff) coons when they are discovered without getting the neighbors upset with me. I would be shooting subsonic 177 pellets.
asked Ted from USAI would say the right pellet and maybe a couple of shots would take one down.
Matthew from USAWhich red dot site fits this one?
asked TeresaIs it metal?
asked John PetroIt has some metal but mainly made of plastic.
Matthew from USAWhat is the Age Requirement on this gun?
asked WesleyWhat ever your kid, or parents say.

Pros
The way to load the gun is strange but the pumping is easy enough.
Cons
The gun is not really accurate and doesn't kill muskrats which I bought it for.
