Rad pants

Great, lightweight summer pants. Have climbed in them. -1 star for the ultra chintzy leg draw cord closure system. It's a cheesy little retainer that isn't fixed and falls off. I lost them both the first climbing session. seriously. How expensive is a little toggle that you'd find on ANY other piece of gear with a draw cord. Am I missing something. Really dumb flaw, OR.

I wear 40 waist. This was sold and shipped as a 40x32. Length was correct, waist was not (probably 38). I have active pants from 3 other vendors, all are 40 and all fit. Stocking up for 2 weeks in Ecuador. Color was more mustard yellow. Model shot looked better than actual.

Purchased these pants for my husband for our trip to Iceland, hands down best hiking pants. Breathable, comfortable and water/wind proof which you need when in Iceland. Highly recommend these.

Size
Buy a pair of 30*30 pants this time, but the size is too big. The waist is too loose.I can't wear at all. In addition to size, the material is very good.

nice pants but very thin fabric

I like OR stuff so in my quest for do-everything pants, I tried these iconic pants. The stretch fabric is surprisingly thin and flimsy-feeling. It is comfy and might be durable but it is paper thin and kind of wispy/flappy compared to other pants I have tried. I would use these for really hot weather, sun-coverage, or stuff-in-a-pocket pants, but not for scrambles or general purposes. Pockets are good but a bit shallow for my needs, and the fit on the lower legs is a bit baggy vs newer thin styles. The cuff elastic is like a puzzle with no instructions but probably useful.

Way too tight

These pants are way too tight in the crotch area for my usual size. They are also difficult to button though all my other 32x34 pants still fit me fine. Overall, fit like skinny jeans, which at least for me is not what I want for hiking.

Runs large in length

- 30xshort

Just ordered these and ended up returning them because they didn't fit at all. I'm 5'8" tall and typically a 30x30 or a 30xshort in most pants. I ordered the 30xshort here and while the waist fit well, they were 2-3 inches longer than I would have liked and also very baggy. The distance between the waist and the bottom of the crotch is also longer than most pants I'm used to. Otherwise seemed like a good pant.
