"Flatsiding" works so well on our belt slide holsters, we adapted it for shoulder holster carry! What does that mean for the 107 FlatSider™ XR7? In the molding process, we use a customized method to ensure that the back of the shoulder holster is flat against your body and the fine contouring of the weapon details comes out on the front. This creates a stunning look and provides extra friction retention while ensuring that your holster stays perfectly close against your body.
The dual-plane open muzzle accommodates both standard and long barrels for full size or compact weapons and minimizes "printing" through the jacket. Comfort is further achieved by the twin harness tabs that are carefully positioned so the gun grip hangs close to the body, where it is comfortable and concealed - and there's an adjustable tension screw that doubles as a trigger guard stop.
Each 107 shoulder rig is designed and manufactured in our California factory using materials primarily sourced from the USA. We use a premium full grain leather from North American cowhide, which as a tooling leather is perfect for shoulder holsters since it retains the deep mold of the weapon and magazines, insuring years of use without losing shape as it becomes more comfortable over time.
It is fitted with our own Comfort-Flex® double shoulder harness, which is cut from soft, strong leather and on the other side is a dual magazine pouch, to complement the pistol specifications, and further distributes the weight. You can adjust the retention of the magazines with two tension screws that can be tightened or loosened with a flathead screw driver. There is also a provision for belt tie-down with our 104 Magazine Side Tie-Down and the 105 Holster Side Tie Down attaches to the snap on the bottom of the holster.
For both black and tan holsters, we start with a natural cut of leather and either dip dye for black or hand oil for tan, giving it a distinctive color you will not find from other manufacturers. This also speaks to the detailed handwork going into each model 107, which also features nylon bonded thread, solid brass hardware, and finishing touches and flourishes only years of craftsmanship can cultivate.
With this eye to perfection in mind, we created a specially contoured top grain leather harness that prevents the center piece from riding up and placing the weapon's weight on the base of the neck. Instead, the weight is on the shoulder muscles, where it belongs, preventing the pain that may be experienced from an improperly designed harness. Easily adjustable with the solid brass Chicago screws and injection molded keepers, the shoulder straps can accommodate chest sizes up to 62" and should last the life of the shoulder holster.
The 107 FlatSider™ XR7 was also recently featured in the NRA American Rifleman magazine and online publication!

yes 6!
Fit my polymer80 pf940v2 G22.
Slightest modding, cut a small relief to accommodate extended mag release.
Great fit and comfort!
I use mink oil to break in leather holsters and extend life of rig...
Only downside: it would take a saddle maker to mod to take rmr red dot..

I have used this holster 3 years. M&P9, M&P2.0 9, M&P2.0 9c 4", all in the same holster. I carry with this holster a majority of days. I was sceptical of the plastic connection rings and seemingly thin cheap straps. My reservations have dissapeared. I've thrown as much work at this holster as possible. I do yard work, swing pick axes, do light mechanic work, clean house, and even run (with a hoodie cover to control bounce) and I forget it's there. Great concealment if you where a well thought out cover garment. The holster itself is a fantastic design, both comfortable and practical. Im very pleased with the dual retention built in as I like a very high friction draw. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET INTO THE SHOULDER HOLSTER GAME ... THIS IS IT.

I bought this shoulder holster well over a year ago. The leather quality is great, and the system is a tried and true traditional design. I have carried fully loaded Glock 17 round 9mm mags in it while engaged in activity involving lots of movement--never had a problem with the snap retention (as another reviewer indicated). Nonetheless, it makes sense to check all snaps for function before going into the field I guess. I would give this 5 stars if the shoulder straps were just a little bit wider, but I suppose some customers prefer the narrower design, so I understand it's hard to please everyone.
It needs two snaps for each magazine carrier. I just lost a loaded magazine for a Glock 20 because a single snap is not sufficient to secure the magazine during any kind of activity. I will have to investigate the feasibility of adding the snaps myself but until/unless that is done, I will likely never use this holster again and certainly won't be using the magazine carriers. I still like my flatsider belt holsters; although, that holster really shouldn't have a molded contour at the muzzle end because it makes it useless for holstering a suppressed or compensated handgun.
