I bought this rifle to use on a 10 meter air gun range & club I couldn't improve on it much for competition purposes. It is right for the olympic's so its got to be right for me.

I feel like the bolt handle is to hard to pull back normally I always feel like I'm having to grab the handle in an odd some what cumbersome sort of way. I have had problems with the diopter rear sight falling off the gun in transit to the club for shooting that is not good when you have zeroed etc.
I recently purchased a Crosman Challenger 2009. This a great air rifle geared towards competition shooting. It is very accurate for target shooting. Out of the box it will shoot better than 99% of anyone shooting it. It holds air, I had no leaks. It gets the advertised shot count, albeit at around 520 FPS. This is not a hunter, energies are too low for humane pest control. The bolt cocking is smooth. It is is easy to pump with a hand pump (2000 PSI). The sights are a nice addition though geared more towards competition. I put a 3x9 bugbuster on it and it is a tack driver!

This is very nice PCP I enjoy shooting it and I like the stock with the adjustable cheek rest and stock butt as well. Very accurate fun to shoot. I like the Charging handle ( resembles the charging handle on the old M-16 that I used in Nam ) to set the rifle to shoot.

with a scope mounted takes some doing to put a pellet into the bore to shoot
ive havent used these rifles but ive seen other schools use them and they did shoot better and one school only had 3 weeks of practice with those and they beat us so i think these rifles are much better and i would recommend this rifle

I purchased this Challenger about 6 years ago, and it still continues to shoot like the day I first took it out of the box. And after all this time it still is able to hold air.
