Impact Crash Pad
The Black Diamond Impact Crash Pad is excellent whether you're a beginner getting your first pad or you're stocking up for some intense highballer you've been eying for a long time. Its polyester ripstop exterior is durable and can handle sliding down rocky crevasses without a tear, and Black Diamond added a PU coating for extra durability and water-resistant protection. Inside the pad, you get one layer of closed-cell PE foam that dissipates the force of your fall, and another layer of high-compression PU foam that keeps the pad sturdy and ready to catch you for many years.
The Impact also features shoulder straps and a waist belt to help you get to your problem with ease, and two handles help your buddies move the pad underneath you while you climb. Its hinge-style fold makes moving from boulder to boulder simple and quick, and the three-strap closure secures the folded pad in place so you can get from the car to the mountains without a hassle.

Solid Crash Pad!
Have been using two of these crash pads side by side for a home gym bouldering wall and they are solid crash pads. The thickness is perfect and coming down on them either on feet or back, you don’t feel the ground. The construction and quality are sturdy and the weight is appropriate given it’s size. It’s easy to fold up and store out of the way. My kids can easily manage moving them. I would buy again.

Great mid-size crash pad
Two of these crash pads can lay flat in the back of a minivan (2016 Toyota Sienna to be exact). Throw a mattress topper on these and you've got a perfect bed in your van for your dirtbag climber life! Plus now you've got pads to bring to the crag wherever you go!

Nice Pad
This is a good pad for the casual pebble wrestler. I don't get crazy with the bouldering, so this one meets my needs really well.

I love this pad! I can't even imagine going a day of bouldering without this specific one. Lightweight, nice size, and super durable.

Good pad, bad clips
The quality of the pad itself is great, feels safe, and is easy to carry. I am giving it 3 stars because after one use, the clips that hold the straps in place fell off and were lost.
