We handle hot objects every day in our labs, in the demo kitchen at work and in our own cooking at home. We’ve tried every kind of hotpad and trivet out there. We took what we learned and designed exactly what we wanted. We studied size, shape, materials, flexibility, durability and heat resistance. We looked at similar existing designs but found that too many were too stiff, some fell apart too easily, some had awkward shapes and some just looked cheap and flimsy. Our design is just right in our opinion. It is perfectly sized for casserole dishes, roasting pans, cake pans, cookie sheets and lots more. We designed a sturdier, dishwasher safe trivet that will hold up in daily commercial use and perform at higher temperatures. And, it comes in 10 colors to match your Thermapen or ChefAlarm. Every kitchen needs a bunch of these!

They were well received as they are great products! The flipper is a good size and flips cooking items easily, the spatulas/spoonula are strong and mix even thicker batters, the ladles work great in large pots. Every item I bought works wonderfully, washes well in the dishwasher, maintains their vibrant colors, and the can't say enough good things about the large silicone trivets. In addition to buying them as part of the sets I own five myself. They are the perfect size to set under large casserole dishes to protect my walnut topped island or dining table.
Yes, it will. It will protect your counter top up to 600°F.
We use them all the time to protect our countertops. The only thing we don’t put on the right out of the oven is pans that were under the broiler, since they can be hotter than pans from a bake or convection cycle. We let the broiler pan cool off on the stovetop for a little while before putting it on silicone or fabric.
Yes, they may be used in the microwave.
We haven't tested it with that exact countertop oven, but this trivet can handle temperatures up to 600°F.
These trivets are rated up to 600°F, and do not leave any stains on any surface if used under that temperature.
It will, it's heat resistant to 600°F.
Hi Sarah, Thank you for the question! The Silicone Trivet is heat resistant up to 600° so if you iron does not go above that, it should be a perfect fit. If you need any help knowing the temperature of your iron, please give us a call at 800.393.6434. We would be happy help you find the right products for your needs.
Your Instant pot will overhang a little on the two sides while the hotpad is 0.31 inches thick. So it should work just fine to protect your counter top.
Hi Sandra,
Thank you for calling it. It was great to see that Hannah was able to help you find the best products for you.
The Trivet is rated up to 600°F, so as long as temperatures do not exceed that, you should be good to go!
Hi Shane,
We do not recommend using the Trivet on the burner while in use. The Trivet is heat resistant to 600°F so any temperatures above that can melt it. Burners can often exceed that temperature and can damage the Trivet.
The Trivet is also designed to cool quickly and not hold heat. The heat from the burner through the Trivet would be extremely less so the heat will not transfer to the pot/pan correctly.
