Very Spacious well thought out 1 person tent

I took this tent out for an overnight trip on a hill (2600ft). I was impressed with how spacious and enjoyable it felt. The storage pockets on the sides and the loft area are very nice and keep things easily accessible. The tent is easy to set up and guy out. Around midnight, the winds kicked up gusts of 30 mph, and the tent was very stable. The tent's light blue color makes it very nice to be inside, unlike the bright red/yellow of some tent interiors. My only complaint is I wish the vestibule were a tad bigger because I generally carry larger packs. Very livable, functional tent IMO!

Doesn't work for me

I love my 2-person Hubba Hubba. The design on the 1-person has the floor piece attached several inches up the side of the tent. This creates a "hammock" effect requiring something stiff to hold the sides of the tent away. The only thing that could do that is a beefy and very wide sleeping pad which would be touching the sides of the tent. That is not good in wet conditions. The poles are a very tight fit, so I don't know that a super beefy sleeping pad could even do the trick. I like having space around my sleeping pad for a water bottle to stand up, bear spray to not get rolled over on, etc. The photo makes it look like the floor is flat, but it did not set up like that. Lots of head room that could be better spent on floor space in my opinion. Also, the bottom of the fly was about 4-6 inches off the ground. Again, not so great for wet conditions. There is always a trade-off between weight and performance. I guess I'm just a princess who needs her space. I'll stick with the roomy 2-person. A puppy ripped the fly on my 2-person Hubba Hubba. I'm waiting to hear back whether I can get a replacement fly or not. Hope you can get your databases coordinated soon. I did return the 1-person. Thank you for the excellent instructions for returns.
