This is my first e-bike, and I did a lot of research and even waited a few years for technology advancements. As a years-long road bike cyclist, I decided a "grocery getter" would be a great addition to the stable for the versatility and unique nature of a more "utility" bike. I can't tell you how much I love this bike! It is so easy to ride, even on ZERO assist. Granted, with hills or headwinds I click on that Eco or even Tour and Sport under certain circumstances. Turbo really feels like Turbo. The bike hums along quickly. I understand it has a stated top speed of 20mph, but I've had it up to 25+ It is so smooth. And the bonus is being able to go get groceries or other provisions. I did a Walmart pickup order the other day and the guys said it was a first for him to see a bike parked in the spot. HAHA! I have the rear rack, the panier bags and I rigged up a Rubbermaid tub on the rack to hold bags of groceries, locked in with the cargo net, while a case of bee...ssssoda rested on the rest of the rack. It rode like a champ and cut through about 30 mph headwinds all the way home. This bike is a true Swiss army knife. It is comfortable, zippy and nimble enough to ride just for fun, yet you can also run so many errands that would have otherwise required burning gas. Is it heavy? Compared to my 18 pound roadbike, yes, of course it is. But 1) it is an e-bike with a battery that weighs almost as much as my roadbike; 2) when riding it doesn't feel heavy, it just feels solid. And when carrying cargo, you need some substance in the bike whether e-bike or not. Would I buy this bike again? Tomorrow, the next day and the day after that. I would recommend to anyone on the fence or just starting their journey into the e-bike arena, I don't think you can go wrong with this bike. It does so much that you will likely ride this bike more than any other.

I’m loving my Abound. Assembly was a piece of cake thanks to the video. I live on a farm and mostly use it to get around on the farm. The huge rear basket is a plus for carrying stuff from place to place. I live in rural Pennsylvania and have taken it on a couple of 25 mile round trips. I use various levels of pas and sometimes just throttle carrying my 265 lbs. self up and down the hills of the country roads around here and have never worried about exhausting the battery. Plus all the extras thrown in made it a no brainer choice. I’m really happy with the bike and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I have to say I just put on 45 miles today and the Abound cargo ebike is simply Amazing! The bike is very stable, very smooth and very quick. The seat so far is actually comfortable. The bike is actually very easy to pedal Without any motor assistance, for me that is, rides great with About 50-52 pounds of air in the tires. It's tons of fun to ride and looks Amazing. I had a bunch of people checking it out. Aventon hit a Home run!!! I have been checking out ebikes for months now and hands down, the Abound cargo is Number one!!!
