Maverick Saddle - Gray

I have the Method 2 panel from your line and one of your competitors. I got the 2 panel around 2 years ago and it is a great saddle. However keeping it adjusted for long sits came with some comfort issues. After reading the specs on the Maverick and reviews I decided to get one and see if it addressed some the comfort issues with the Method. Probably have around 24 + hours in it so far and it is definitely more comfortable to me. One the reason I have chosen you models is the rope belt which I really like vs a buckle. The wider webbing makes a difference in fit and comfort for me. The only area I have is with the adjustable dyneema bridge. It takes a little work to get it freed up to adjust. Still not a deal breaker for me. Oh, almost forgot I do like the new linesman loop and location doing 2 TC and rappelling. For me as a 61 year old broken ass retired SOF guy it makes staying in the tree longer easier. Bottom line I like it and will be using it at every opportunity. Thanks Woody

This is the 3rd saddle I’ve used in the last 6 years of saddle hunting. And it is the first one that was 100% comfortable out the box with 0 hip pinch. I’d used a previous latitude saddle and it was great also but still needed some improvement. This saddle has covered all those needs and this will be me go to saddle for years to come! Quality stitching and built like a tank! My first sit in it was an all day sit 12 hours in the tree and didn’t feel like I’d got hit by a mac truck after!

So this is actually my second saddle I’ve owned and let me just say this. This maverick is by far the most comfortable saddle in its class. It’s extremely light weight and I was shocked to see the box it shipped in I thought it was empty! I kind of gave up on saddle hunting due to hip pinch and overall not finding consistent comfort during the hunt. This saddle changed the game for me I’m glad I switched to latitude. This is by far the most comfortable way to hunt. Very well designed and for the price the Maverick cannot be beat.

The Maverick is a great saddle with everything you need. I originally owned the Latitude Classic 2 saddle. It was a good first saddle. Regretfully I decided to switch to another name brand because I thought their saddle would be more comfortable with a large expanding pleat. But I was never comfortable in the tree. My legs felt like they were being pinched together when the pleat was expanded and the saddle felt too small when the pleat wasn't expanded. Mid season I had to make a change so I would stop moving so much and I bought the Maverick. I tried it out for an all day sit. The Maverick is hands down a better saddle than the other name brand and better than the original Classic 2 with the thicker 4” webbing which adds to the comfort. There was no fidget factor and no pinch points. It’s a lightweight saddle with everything you need for adding accessories and enjoying your hunt comfortably. For the price, you can’t beat it. I’m pleased to be back in a Latitude Outdoors saddle. Don’t pass this one up!

This saddle is perfect for the minimalist hunter! Light weight and comfortable. Love the folding concept to tuck away the saddle while trekking in/out. Overall, great product.
