Ordered these boots late on Friday, they arrived next Thursday in great condition. After a quick visual inspection, I unveiled them in Point Lobos (Monterey, California) on a 6.5 mile easy hike. I received these boots on a Friday, tried them on and they seem to fit well. I kept them on around the house to see how well they felt. I decided to use them on my planned hike the next day, and pack my other boots in my backpack. We were hiking two Peaks in the Santanoni Range of the Adirondacks. Great-looking boots, leather upper, gore-tex membrane, grippy and durable sole (Vibram). It's just that they were defective. There was a hole on the side of the boot, I'll take it to the shoe workshop to fix it. I am disappointed
