Awesome BEAST of a stove

I bought this stove last summer for a car camping trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. I was frustrated with the lighter but then realized what altitude I was actually at and piezo lighters don't work so remember this when you go to altitude with it. Below 7400ish youre good. The power these burners have is amazing, great for fast cooks or for a big group. It works great with cast iron and I liked the flexibility. It boils water incredibly fast with the 20k btu burners, faster than my gas range at home. It is a little bulkier than other stoves but perfect for camping or a quick picknic, I've even used it at the sledding hills for making cocoa. I opted to get an adapter and a 5lb tank and after multiple uses I'm still well over 3/4 of a tank.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Hot!

Bought the Everest for the primary purpose of making camp coffee and it heats water admirably for that endeavor. The two burners put out in my opinion a maximum amount of flame for a camp stove of this size. Low level flame adjustment is fine for simmering camp fare. Lid serves well as a wind break although the side wings are not “notched” at the stove top connection point and too easily slide out of position. After 3 bottles of fuel, the piezoelectric burner ignition no longer works. Gas bottles left connected on this particular stove will bleed empty within 24 hours. Easy to clean, overpriced given the above annoyances.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Best ever

Bought this 2 years ago. I have been acquainted with Coleman stoves most of my life, but thoroughly blown out by this stove. Does Coleman make a great stove? You bet’cha. But this stove means I can cook anything I can get the ingredients near the stove. Best country flapjacks ever. Fabulous beef bean and cheese Dutch oven dish. I can use my old Lodge cast iron, or my newish gsi dualist, even that can make great pancakes if I can stop making them an inch and a half thick!

Yes, I recommend this product.
