It was accurate and functioned well but the velocity was much slower than expected. Under 2450 in a 16” barrel with the SD in the mid to upper 20s. Still very good for the price.

This stuff is phenomenal, not just for the price, but period. Palmetto State and AAC are the unsung heroes of the Everyman gun owner. @ 50yd, through my 11. 5” Sig Spear LT, with an unmagnified Aimpoint T2, the illumination dialed down as low as possible yet the dot still bigger than the bullseye, it STILL puts multiple impacts nearly touching in the bullseye. In the picture, you can see I took 2 shots at a random piece of cardboard, at what I perceived to be the center, and the holes are touching. Granted this is out of a high quality weapon, with a high quality trigger (Geissele SSA-E), but the fact that ammo for 62 cents a round gets these results is, to me, absolutely stunning.

Very impressed with this ammo, I snagged a bulk amount on sale and recently had a chance to test some out. Every round went boom, no failures at all, and very accurate out of my 18" SPR build. I'll be keeping an eye out for sales in the future and stocking up.

My LWRC DI with a 1/7 twist barrel really seems to like this stuff. Shot a couple groups at 50 yards just for a quick test. I was on a bipod with a rear bag so there could have been a flyer or 2 that were on me but i was happy with the results.

I did some testing on this ammunition and I was getting on average 1-1. 5 MOA for 5 round groups, and under 2 MOA reliably for 10 round groups out of a 16” BCM upper. This ammunition in my opinion outperforms other brands and it seems like they got some of the primer issues sorted from the past which is a plus. I used a chronograph and I got an average velocity of 2620. 7fps with a SD of 10. 2. Ammunition performs good under windy conditions and I got good effects at 500yds. I’ve yet to do further distances with it.

I was going through the ammo, I purchased a little of 3k rounds and a lot of the casings were dented, extremely discolored, and I was even missing a round on one of the last boxes I was putting into ammo cans…. That made me question my whole existence as to if I was shorted anymore because I was just opening and dumping them into cans while watching tv. I just hope they shoot better than they looked

Solid ammo. Goes bang every time. Great accuracy out of a 11. 5 Geiselle. 1/2 inch @50 yards. Shot a 5 shot string under a garmin chronograph. Single digit ex spread and std dev. Next box hit 46. It appears aac is getting the consistency better. Not great but a no brainer for the money w 77 gr lethality.

So far, so good. I've only fired about 40 rounds from different rifles. My PSA with Ballistic Advantage 18" fluted barrel shoots this stuff under MOA so far. My other Aero Precision rifle isn't as good, but it is struggling trying to find it's balance since I screwed with muzzle devices, suppressors etc.

I compared the primers between the 77g otm and 69g otm, they both had hard hits and looked identical. So it’s safe to say it’s not a hammer spring issue. I then ran winchester 55g 5. 56 with no failures.

Bought two boxes at a strangely good price for 77otm, but they cut corners with QC. One round has a badly deformed casing. A little disappointing without even going to the range and would highly suggest hand inspecting each AAC round before firing. I really wanted to give these a try as my next match ammo, but now I'm a little hesitant about placing bulk orders. Might update the review after going to the range and seeing if the QC issues effect the accuracy of the rounds. 1/40 rounds being defective isn't horrible, but it's only the second defective round I've seen after buying and shooting thousands of rounds from different manufacturers. Hopefully it was just a fluke, but I've heard about PSA QC issues. I guess we'll wait and see how PSA addresses their QC problem.

There were 6-7 rounds in the string that caused the data and groups to result in that. I will be asking to have lots swapped out or just to have a refund on this particular lot. Now, the AAC 140gr 6. 5cm purchased along with this did great. Low ES and single digit SD. Seems to be isolated to the 77gr 5. 56 for me.

Shoots great out my my friend and I's SPRs. Both 20" barrels, his is stainless and mine's chrome lined. At 100 yards it shoots about 1" out of his and hovering around 1. 2 out of mine. Perfectly adequate for that kind of rifle. We went out to distance and were stacking rounds at 5,6, and 700. The data out of my ballistic calculator was spot on, so the velocity on the box must be accurate at 2700fps out of a 20". I've seen some reviews saying this ammo didn't shoot well for them. Another friends Freedom PSA upper shot like 2" groups, but that's to be expected out of that rifle. The ammo's accurate, but if your barrel sucks it doesn't matter. As always, compare a few brands of ammo, but at this price I'd take an extra eighth of an inch on my group size any day.

When I pulled the plastic wrapped boxes out of package I noticed gun powder all over inside. I opened one of the boxes and found a bullet not crimped and it had fallen in and spilled all the powder out. No signs of damage to the box from shipping. Not sure I should even shoot any of these now.

Solid out of my 14.5 nefarious arms chrome lined 1/7 twist mr556. Got a 2.5 inch 9 round group at 100 yards. The rifle was on a bipod and not bagged and I'm not the best shot I'm sure this ammo is 1moa but I'm not lol. I also used the iPhone measure app bc lack of ruler on me at the time so it could be off a bit. This was also after 10 rounds of zeroing so not exactly a cool barrel but not too hot.

This is pretty great ammo. I got anywhere from .5 inch groups at 100 yards all the way to about 1.25 with my AR with a RDS and magnifier set up. This is probably the best “match” ammo on the market right now , especially for the price

I’ve only shot about 100 rounds with the 77 grain but OG Daniel Defense DDM4 V5 loves this ammo. I was shooting consisted 1 moa groups or better. It’s never been this accurate. I would definitely recommend for 1/7 16” barrels. Can’t wait to try in other AR’s of mine.

I typically shoot 55gr simply due to price. Saw they had the AAC 77gr SMK for around $16 and decided to try it out. Didn't fair any better or worse that Federal's 77gr SMK load, which usually gives me, on average, 1.5moa with the random 1.1-1.2 moa 5 shot groups. Not too bad but I can achieve that with decent 55gr loads for cheaper. Then, I seen AAC's 76gr OTM load for $11 a box and couldn't pass up the opportunity to try it out. Man, was I impressed. I was able to score groups around 0.90 moa on almost every rifle I shot it out of with groups in the 1.2 moa rang on the high end This is by far the best ammo in my opinion. It's extremely accurate, gives me good velocity out of my 12.5 @ an average of 2460 fps and it's a 77gr load at a great price. Used it this weekend at a DMR course with my 12.5 and it was impressive. Hope PSA keeps up the great work and, hopefully, they keep the pricing.

I decided to try this in my custom built 223 bolt action rifle that shoots incredibly well with my 77gn Sierra match king hand loads. I was quite impressed to say the least. First 10 rounds of this ammo. First round had a poi shift so I made a correction. Second shot was a tenth low so another correction. Shots 3-10 all impacted I target that's about 3/4 of an inch. Shot at 100 yards in a steady wind. I don't think I'll be loading handloads anymore as long as these are available. Shot well from 2 ar's also

I've never seen bulk ammo behave like this. Volunteer XV DMR 20in, 5R, 1/8.That is a legit five (5) string with AAC 5.56 NATO 77gr OTM inside 13/32" @ 130yds while kneeling, bipod, 9X ffp, moa reticle. No wind.Friggin' excellent ammunition.

INCREDIBLE performance for $0.10 more than cheap garbage plinking ammo. I'm done hunting for cheap primers and reloading, I'll just buy this in bulk. Took my surplus LWRC IC-G out to 600yds without problems on steel, the longer range consistency is there along with paper group performance.

I chose to take my KAC 1/7 SR15E3 to GunSite for the most excellent weeklong 223 Carbine Course. Unfortunately, testing showed my Gucci Gun likes the heavier stuff: no 69gr, 62gr, and definitely not 55gr ammo -would allow me to do much, with palm-sizes 100yd groups. But this 77gr OTM was Da Bomb! Fired over 1050 rounds in the week without fail. Only one malfunction due to under-lube (ARs run best “wet”!) Accuracy was never tested from a stable table or mount, but only prone, kneeling/sitting, and standing - and it did the job if I did mine! 14/14 on the hillside Military Crest Simulator. Outstanding Ammo! Reliable. Accurate. Inexpensive, especially compare to other 77gr OTMs. Stocking up now!

I picked up 1200 of these to fill a can just from the reviews and my first outing with them did not disappoint. Shooting through my go-to plinker, a 2500rd+ veteran box stock $450 16" u/l kit from PSA with the stock single stage EPC trigger my groups went from 4" using white box ammo to under 2" with the AAC 77gr OTM. No other changes, same day of shooting. I'm tickled. Now to try them in other 'better' rifles and see just how tight I can get some groups!

Shot this out of a colt M4 1/7 barrel, and a BCM 1/7 14.5. Gets them to just right about MOA at 100, and that’s through a 4x acog. I wouldn’t actually expect either to do any better with any ammo so this stuff shoots pretty good.

Love this ammo. Shoots great out of my PSA 18” SS upper. This upper throws 55gr all over the place, to the tune of about 3-3.75 moa. The 77gr OTM shrunk groups by a little more than 2moa. Haven’t shot a ton of it, but 100yds was getting .9-1.25min. At 300yds in a field position (prone with USGI web sling) rapid fire, both groups could almost be covered by a fist (5”).
