actually put this vortex on my lwrc sporting rifle ,I can hit a man sized target with some alacrity even at 250 meters ,this is one clear marvelous rifle scope,very useful in the hindu kush area for sporting purposes.

Perfect scope for my Ruger #1 in 375 H&H. Great Razor quality optics, generous eye relief for this big bore rifle and it performs just like a red dot. Both eyes open shooting isn't a problem even at 1.5X.
Would absolutely buy again.

I bought 5. One for each rifle. Excellent optics, superb build quality (Japan), lightweight, compact, plenty of eye relief, 32mm objective = low scope rings = good cheek weld, unbeatable price, excellent in low light (no issues here at all, it's clear and visible well beyond legal light). The 1.5x-8x is perfect for me when hunting timber (18ft field of view at 25 yards) or shooting out to 500 yards (which I only do at the range anyway). 3x scopes don't have enough field of view for me at 50 yards and under. Perfect hunting scope. Highly recommended.

First of all, this scope is made in Japan. For those in the know, that’s a good thing. The quality is just off the charts. As others have noted, the glass is unbelievably clear with only a slight hint of chromatic aberration when zoomed to 8x. The scope is very light, but the build is solid. With it’s 1.5x capability, It’s a perfect choice for a dangerous game rifle. I’ve got it mounted on my Browning BLR in 30’06 and it’s just perfect.

I thought that these scopes had been discontinued a couple of years back.
I don’t know where eurooptic found a stash, but get one while you can.
I have purchased a bunch in 1.5-8 and 2-10, over the past few years. When you can find them under $500, there isn’t a better scope available at a similar price point.
Absolutely amazing hunting scope at low light. I can spot deer that you can’t really see with the naked eye at dawn/dusk.

I put this scope on a Ruger #1 in 450 bushmaster. At the under $500 price point this scope is unbeatable. The only drawback is the 1" tube but the HD glass makes you forget all about it.
