Well done, PSA.
Well done, PSA.
The feed ramp needs re-designing if it is to be compatible with Scorpion mags. The only mags that work so far are PSA brand. (I have about 900 rounds through it so far). The Magpul drum works great though, I didn’t expect that.
A couple m-lock slots on the hand guard would be awesome. I just drilled holes and added rails for my laser-light and for my forward grip (if you want to go the SBR route).
Super fun to shoot!

Ran 300+ rounds through it on the first run not a single failure.
If you like the smooth mp5-esque style handguard, youll sacrifice accessory mounting up front.
As others have observed, the brace doesn't fully retract in, not a big deal.
The bolt catch stiffness is definitely a thing, appears hit and miss on how bad it is. Mine is stiff, but is becoming less so with more use. Also not a bit deal. Trigger is meh.
Overall though, it's bussin. Ran Palmetto mags, and Magpul. PSA mags are actually the better quality (metal meat curtains, rubber on the base). Both fed just fine.
Shoots nice. Personally, I would have purchased the ARV with an MLok handguard it it was offered with the PDW brace. Plan on upgrading the trigger. Will see how she rips with a FRT/WOT and a can.
Summary. Solid PCC. If I bought again. I'd buy the MLOK handguard variant and just live with a SBA5 brace/install a stock.

Features
Taurus is pleased to introduce the next iteration of its heralded GX4 micro-compact pistol, the Taurus GX4™ T.O.R.O. The new GX4 T.O.R.O. adopts the Taurus Optic Ready Option mounting system, which facilitates mounting of several popular micro-red dot sights. The T.O.R.O. system is designed around a factory optic-cut slide for those who desire the advantages of a low-print EDC handgun and the confident sight picture of a red dot. The GX4 T.O.R.O. also comes with a flush-mount slide cover plate for use with the non-optic option. The Taurus GX4 series pistols lead the micro-pistol class with their 10-, 11-, or 13-round capacity, durable finish, ergonomics, and exceptional accuracy. The Taurus GX4 offers minimal printing even when worn under light clothing yet delivers the firepower and performance serious personal defense practitioners demand in an EDC/CCW handgun.
