Spacious spots!

This is a very clean, nice campground. The spots on top of the hill have lots of space if you’re parking an RV. Quiet and comfortable.

A little taste of Lake Tahoe

We loved this place ! This is a peaceful, very well taken care of CG . It’s about 3 miles of the main road around Flathead lake , nestled in a beautiful lakeside neighborhood. The road to the CG is well paved & dotted with lovely lake homes , orchards & a few fresh produce stands if the season is right. Everyone’s yards were chocked FULL of deer!! They were everywhere! I never get sick of seeing deer & this was no exception. They were thick as thieves & a fun sight to see! Nothing like a ton of deer to welcome you on your travels . Once at the CG we were greeted by a friendly ranger , given some nifty area maps / info & kindly guided to our site. Our site was fantastic. Site 5 in an upper loop. It was up on an overlook & had a fantastic view of the lake thru a few beautiful pines. The site was paved, level & super easy to back into with a travel trailer. We sprung for an electric site. There’s a picnic table & fire ring too. There aren’t many trees between sites but they are well spaced & situated so that you aren’t staring into your neighbors site full on. Once we got settled in we took a stroll & followed a little path leading from the upper sites down to the water front sites & boat slips & beach. There’s a designated beach area where there are rv sites & tent sites available. While I wanted to be lakeside, these sites are a little bit busier & bustling due to the beach area & boaters. It’s to be expected at a CG with such a big boat launch area. It got a little busy during the day but it completely tolerable, & we cherish our peace & quiet ! If you just walk down a small strip of shoreline from the designated beach area, there is an area of small shore that’s quieter & less populated. The tent sites in this area looked very cool. Overall we found this CG to be lovely. It was actually pretty quiet despite some minor boat activity & beach noise. Somehow it all just blended into the background buzz. Everyone seemed to be respectful of the area & just wanted to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The grounds are well kept & the hosts are hard at work staying on top of things . And all the hosts were very nice . This park is also very pet friendly! There are cute little statins set up , fully stocked with poops bags & Flathead Lake personalized leaves . Such a thoughtful touch! We loved this place so much , we stayed two days , left for a night , then ended up coming back for another 2 days !

Decent spot for a night

We stopped here for one night to stay in flathead lake. We drove in on a Tuesday in July and we’re able to snag a site without a reservation. The sites down by the water are close together but give great access to the lake and the dock. There’s isn’t much a beach there though and lot of gnats by the water. We were up hill so it was kind of hike for us but not terrible. There’s pit toilets and communal water spigots. Cost was $34 a night for out of staters. Close to lots of u pick cherry farms too which was fun.

Friendly and Scenic Stay

The views of Flathead Lake were amazing. Easy for both of the dogs to get around (including my three legged pup). Extremely clean and friendly staff

Great views... not a lot of privacy.

Very popular campground.  We got in through a cancellation.

The campsites on the lower loop are side by side, not a lot of space between them.  This seems to be a popular site for families and boaters.

Electric with no sewer, water spigots are located around so you can fill your fresh tank.

Great access to Flathead Lake.

Very nice

Nice quiet camp site near the lake. We were there during the off-season so it wasn’t too busy. Had electric hookup and a water spout nearby you could get water if you needed. Bathrooms on site were very clean.

Best campground on the lake

I stayed to the north at Big Horn and on the west side. This was by far the best spot out of all three. Great views of the water. Great sunsets. There is a swimming beach next to the boat docks. Very clear. Wildlife like it here too. Saw deer every night.

Awesome Experience

Solo camper. I had site T-001, which is very accessible and has amazing views of the lake. When I first arrived I was immediately greeted by cheerful, friendly and outgoing camp host Steven, who is very knowledgeable of the area. Kurtis is also a vital asset to the campground as well. Site is quiet, clean with easy access to the lake. Best part was probably Kurtis and Steven. Very approachable and happy to help in any way! I hope there’ll be a day in the near future where I can find myself back here

Fantastic tent site

This was an amazing tent site. A little windy at night, but I loved falling asleep to the sound of the wind and waves breaking as we were right next to the water. The sunset was beautiful and the campground stayed quiet until after 8 so we were able to sleep in. Bathroom is a vault toilet with too many bugs, but oh well, it's camping.

Fast Track Finley

Ahhhh. Finley point. 3rd trip here. I haven’t been here in 9 years and expected it to be the same. Sadly I was mistaken. BIg changes here. It’s not the quiet place It used to be. We arrived around 4pm only to find our parking space taken by day users. Disappointed that at a reserved site this was allowed. It was pure chaos boaters everywhere, people all over and very noisy. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing spot, don’t come here! The view is as nice as ever and tent area by the water is nice. Vault toilets wIth hand sanitIzer, dont see this often, and no showers. Pet friendly with stations for doggie clean up bags.

Lakefront sites with all the amenities

Finley point is an amazing campground. There are a select few sites yards away from the water, each with a bit of beach. The biting bugs were minimal, but the swarms of other bugs were impressive, and the fish obviously loved them.

With lots of people close by, your neighbors will affect your experience.

Unique and gorgeous

Finley point is a unit of Flathead Lake State Park, and has both tent camping as well as RV camping. There are RV spots practically right on the water, as well as tent spots. There’s also boat-in camping available, but you much sleep on your boat as there is no place for a tent next to the boat slips. The rangers do evening programs on the weekends, which are awesome. It’s a fabualous place to swim, paddle board, and spend time with family! Pets are allowed on leashes. There is not electric hookups or showers.
