Adds a little weight but helps with recoil slightly
For a compact 9mm the kick is still somewhat there but I feel like these Mag bases help with that. I got gold and decided to go further with gold accents/parts. Pretty easy to install if you have a punch or even a small rod would work.

Product Info for Killer Innovations Velocity CZP10 Magazine Base Pads
The oversized lip around the magazine extends past the recessed area on the mag-well just enough to provide a positive purchase on the magazine. The serrated texture on the sides provide enough traction to confidently load and unload the magazine, even with a cold wet hand, and provides greater control when guiding into the mag-well. Made from precision machined, high-grade billet aluminum, the Velocity base pad is plenty strong enough for the most demanding user and can withstand hitting the concrete over and over again.
