EASY TO PACK

The Bikeflights BBM is our budget traveler. The BBM is optimized to keep costs low on both domestic and international shipping, while still accommodating most road, gravel and smaller mountain bikes. Packing your bike into a BBM requires more disassembly than our larger boxes; basic steps include removing your pedals, both wheels, your rear derailleur, your handlebars and your seat and seatpost. The exact packing steps will vary for each bike or frame.

STURDY

Bikeflights Bike Boxes are designed and rigorously tested to the ISTA 6A standard to offer confidence-inspiring levels of protection for your bike during shipping. To achieve ISTA 6A classification, the BBL had to withstand multiple drops of 18 inches and 36 inches, a horizontal compression force of up to 229 pounds, a vertical compression force of up to 1,732 pounds, and sustained vibration while loaded up to 300 pounds. Bikeflights Bike Boxes are designed to protect your bike for two shipments, although we have found in our own experience that we often get more shipments per box. Service life varies depending on the duration of each shipment.

SUSTAINABLE

Bikeflights Bike Boxes are reusable and recyclable. We have also minimized packaging waste by designing the outer cardboard wrapper to serve as a divider between your frame and front wheel when packing. The box is sealed using biodegradable plastic pinch clips, and the axle spacers are injection-molded recycled plastic.

• 2 Splined dropout spacers (accommodates nine standard axle lengths)

Subsequent shipments with your bike packed in a Bikeflights Bike Box are specifically not included but can be purchased here. Please note: We can NOT ship Bikeflights.com bike boxes to APO, DPO, FPO, or PO boxes or to U.S. Post Offices. The bicycles in the photos and videos are NOT included.
