Tangent Theta’s TT315M 3-15x50mm Professional Marksman is a professional-level riflescope that offers rapid target acquisition at long, intermediate, and short range. The lenses are made premium glass, and its large 50mm objective lens and 32mm eyepiece deliver exceptional light transmission – this makes the TT315M perfect for applications in low light environments. One of the TT315M’s more notable features is its non-translating turrets. The non-translating turrets do not move in and out in relation to the tube when turned, and incorporate an upper and lower scale of adjustments. The elevation turret features two complete rotations of adjustment. During the first revolution, the shooter uses the lower adjustment scale. When the second revolution is reached, the number “2” will appear in a window located on the upper radial surface of the dial to notify the shooter that they need to read the upper adjustment scale. Similarly, the windage turret features two complete rotations of adjustment – one left rotation and one right rotation – as well as dual scales with corresponding left and right markings. When the dial is turned off the zero setting towards the range of left windage, an “L” appears in a small window on the dial to indicate the shooter should be reading the left window scale. When the dial is turned off the zero setting towards the range of right windage, an “R” appears in a small window on the dial to indicate the shooter should be reading the right window scale. The use of non-translating turrets simplifies the act of making adjustments in the field as well as the overall operation of the scope.

The turrets also feature a zero-stop function, which allows the user to quickly return to a known range zero and to be able to use that setting as a starting point to make further adjustments. Another innovative feature on the turrets is the exclusive Tool-Less Re-Zero function. This allows the user to adjust the reading of the adjustments without changing the point of aim in the scope. The Tool-Less Re-Zero procedure is simple: just loosen the lock three turns, adjust the dial to zero, and while holding the dial at precisely zero, tighten the lock to “finger tight”. Other features of the TT315M include an advanced illumination system with 11 brightness settings. Each setting features a tactile detent with additional detents between each setting. The illumination detectives between each setting, and a 6-hour automatic shutoff preserves battery life.
