Heavy-duty and Comfy. Car Camping Staple.

I'm a large human (6'6" 300#) and this is the first camp chair I've used that doesn't feel pushed to the limit when I plop down. It's quite comfortable despite its heavy-duty construction. Others of lesser proportions attest to enjoying the generous size. A car camping staple.

This chair is extremely comfortable, I want to take it out of the bag, don’t ever plan on putting it back in. It’s not going.

for bigguns or cuddling

Sturdy good looking camp chair. It’s not lightweight but pretty comfy. My other camp chairs have worn out after one or two seasons. Weather, use leave them rickety and uncomfortable. I think this one will last much longer. It’s big enough for me, the dog and two kids on what lap I have. And a blanket.

Great for everything

This is a replacement for a flimsy chair that broke as someone (not heavy) sat in it!! This chair is sturdy, beautifully designed, light weight and worth every dollar!!

Arrived dirty/used return??

Overall, I like this chair. She’s solid! I have no worries about this chair breaking—I’m pretty sure it’ll last the rest of my life. It appears to be well built & it is sturdy when I sit in it. That being said, I docked a star because right out of the box, some of the yellow-green trim fabric on the chair itself was a bit dirty, making me think it didn’t leave the factory like that. Biggest pro: I can sit with my legs cross crossed in this seat. It is super roomy! Biggest con: it is heavy to carry, & quite long…but I guess that’s the trade off for using heavy duty parts. Overall, I would recommend it. Try harder REI…this is now the 3rd item I’ve received from you that appears to be a used return!

Unmatched Comfort and Durability

The King Kong chair has truly won me over, so much so that I ended up buying a second one for my son. Its outstanding features have transformed our outdoor experiences and added a touch of convenience and comfort to our adventures. Look-this thing is strong and sturdy. it holds up, it's durable, and it's big enough to really be comfortable to sit in. I don't feel like I'm sitting in a "cheap seat on an airplane" and locked in place. There's ample storage for "stuff" in the chair while it's on the campsite-pockets, drink holder, more. I wouldn't recommend this chair for backpacking because it does take up weight and space even when folded--but for car-camping, backyards, etc. -- this is my go-to chair every time. Comfort is paramount during outdoor activities, and the Sturdy Camping Chair delivers on this front. Its ergonomic design provides excellent back support, allowing us to sit back and relax for extended periods. Whether we're gathered around the campfire or simply taking in nature's beauty, this chair ensures we're at ease throughout. In conclusion, the Sturdy Camping Chair is an investment that has proven its worth time and again. With its durability, thoughtful features like drink holders and storage pockets, and the ease of portability, it has become an indispensable part of our outdoor adventures. I wholeheartedly recommend this camping chair to fellow outdoor enthusiasts—its unmatched comfort and durability will undoubtedly enhance your outdoor experiences.

Sturdy but no carry strap on chair

Sturdy chair and folds easily, it is heavy. Has 2 small cup holders, wish they were larger. Returning because there is no carry strap on the chair, have to put it back into bag to carry it.

Portable, Schmortable!

Learned the hard way that there is a difference between a camping chair and a hiking chair. Apparently, 'they' expect you to only carry a camping chair from the RV to the awning right outside the door. This thing is far too heavy to pack around. Returned for being too heavy. It's a heavy duty chair with all the emphasis on the HEAVY part.
