Great Canoe for Anglers and Adventurers
This is a great canoe for short day trips, multi-day relatively smooth river trips or flat water ponds and lakes. It is very sturdy, high quality and purpose built for fishing and adventuring. It tracks straight and is very maneuverable. I've taken it through a patch of class 2 rapids with confidence and it handled very well. I've also sat on still ponds and laid back to watch the sunset - with confidence. I am very happy with my purchase and I would recommend this canoe to anyone looking for a solo adventure vessel.

3 seasons and still amazing
Have has been my solo for 3 years now it has been everywhere from big lakes to divert rapids. It sets nicely on the top of my jeep all summer long and gets used every weekend. Perfect for fishing of just paddling out.

Go for it!
Got the Solo 119 to cruise local waterways, I use the canoe mainly for fishing and hunting, and with an added trolling motor on a homemade mount, the Solo 119 is effortless to navigate

Sportsman Discovery Solo 119
I am an amateur paddler and have had no problems with the 119. The first time I took it out there was a strong breeze but it had no effect on the boat. It tracked very well, was easy to paddle, and was very stable. So far I’ve been very impressed.

Loving going solo
And I’m using it for fishing and I love it I take my pug in it. I think he feels more secure in it than in my open in kayak

The perfect solo canoe
This canoe is the perfect solo canoe to have. It tracks well and the seat is so comfortable. it is very light so transportation is easy.

Meets all of my needs
Sweet little canoe that really hums along with a double blade paddle, but also very responsive with a single paddle. Feels a little shaky while standing up, but it has good secondary stability and very stable while paddling. I'm 5'-8" and 220lbs and I'd be very confident loaded-up and in class II water. I wish I had bought this canoe years ago.
