A beautiful setting at Lakeview. Large sites all appointed well to the lake and play area. We had a great time even though it was wet virtually the whole trip. The owners were also very helpful as my husband got stuck in some heavy clay on the property in his car. Thanks for pulling him out!!

We loved staying in our caravan at Lakeview Area 2. Despite the rainy weather it had everything we needed. The grounds are beautifully kept and it is very accessible. Thank you!

I would not recommend this location solely due to its inflexible cancellation policy. A 7-day cancellation policy is unreasonable, particularly when bookings are weather-dependent. Forecasts are often unreliable that far in advance, making it difficult to plan accordingly. I originally booked in March but had to pay a $50 fee just to reschedule because the weather conditions weren’t suitable for an enjoyable stay. On our second attempt, we experienced poor weather again, but decided to go ahead as we didn’t want to lose more money. Most caravan parks or campsites offer credits or more flexible options in such cases, something we would have gladly accepted. Unfortunately, the rigid policy here took away from what should have been a relaxing experience.

This was our first Hipcamp stay and we loved it. The sites were very neat and tidy, freshly mowed and plenty of space to spread out. We are on our own but it looked like there was so much for family’s with kids to do. Fire wood available at low cost and was good dry small pieces.

I loved everything about this camp. The space away from other campers, the views across the lake, how quiet it is and so close to Beachmere Hub. The sites are well looked after. It would have to be one of the best Hipcamps we have stayed at. Will be letting our friends know although I selfishly want to keep it a secret it’s so lovely. Will be back thank you !!!

I could not recommend this camp spot enough. All the kids in our group had the best time. We took or own SUP and kayak but there are many scattered around to use. A very simple playground but the kids loved it. Table tennis, handball court and volleyball net. It had just enough to keep everyone occupied when not sitting back and relaxing. Grass was well maintained and camp sites far enough away from each other. Beautiful spot and we plan to book this at least once a year from now on. Thank you Belinda.

We stayed on site 3 , it was huge and not close to other campers . Lake view was good and had its own fire pit. Overall a lovely spot thanks guys.

The campsite at Lakeview is wonderful. The sites are large, most sites can fit two or more vans on. The dam is great for kayaking, oar boats etc. There is a waterslide and water trampoline for the kids (and big kids). Peaceful, beautiful sunsets and fire pits on each site. We have been back numerous times and love it here. Dog friendly too.

Excellent place to camp. Sites are large so you don't feel as if you're on each other's lap.theres plenty for the kids to do with a play ground, volley ball net, ping pong table, slip n slide and a water slide.

Great space, large camping spots. Super quiet location with huge view of the shy - sun for solar charging or just sitting in a chair and gazing at the stars. Quite a hidden gem.

Great place to stay Sites are great size ' The lake is a beauty we made good use of it with our paddle board. Really enjoyable stay Great place to relax ' Close to towns if U want to venture out & about, If U have children they would love it here 😊 The doggo was happy too, Will definitely stay again & Highly recommend 👍🏼

A nice camp close to Brisbane for a quick getaway. Easy to follow directions to get there and large campsites for groups. A good playground for the kids.

Our family loved our stay at Lakeview over Qld Labour weekend. Great size sites & the area is well maintained. Camping so close to the lake edge was a delight while watching others having fun using the free kayaks. We walked the lake perimeter often observing the birds, children’s playground & the attempts to play table tennis on windy days. Needless to say there were many activities provided. We will definitely return.

Great communication from Belinda. The sites are spacious and you barely know anyone else is there. The view over the lake is gorgeous especially at sunset. The playground is large and allows the children to be imaginative as well as active and the kayaks and other activities are a bonus. Lakeview is now our camping group’s official favourite venue.

We just had our fourth camp over the last 3 years at Lakeview. As always it was a relaxed, peaceful stay and the firewood is still the same price! No doubt we'll be back again.

We’ve been to Lakeview a few times now and have more trips booked. It feels like a hidden gem tucked away at the back of the property. There’s plenty to do to keep the kids entertained and very peaceful. Looking forward to many more trips
