It shoots, feels great. Highly recommend for a base 556 AK.Pros: Price, easily 100 bucks cheaper than other 556 AKS (which shall not be named). It shoots. Very minor recoil, less than my PA-15, handles great, LRBHO on the mag is great. Tank break is great. Rivets are spot on. If you want a 556 AK platform buy this and trick it out.Cons: Nitpicky minor fitment issues, tank break fits a little loose, front sight needed to be adjusted up and to the right (i'm using a red dot so not even an issue) there's a minor gap between the rear sight block and trunnion, dust cover's carrier spring cut is very slightly high so its a little tight removing it. That's literally everything I could think of.Other notes: Mine doesn't like steel cased 223, didn't really expect it to as my ar's don't like it either.A 45 Degree gas block, its ALMOST a 101 copy, just a little bit cheaper, oh and no cleaning rod ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Swapped moekov furniture, optional but recommended, might replace it with an ALG trigger but that's down the road.

Fantastic. I intentionally waited on doing this review, because I saw a lot of potentially conflicting information about this gun out there… mine has been utterly flawless since the first trip to the range. That first trip was a bit rough, lots of shaved brass, failures to feed, etc…. I fired 150 rounds that trip, then took it home and cleaned it thoroughly. Since then, I’ve probably put 1500 rounds through it from several different manufacturers without any failures whatsoever. It runs like an AK should. Upgraded the trigger to the ALT-EKG SINGLE STAGE trigger here from palmetto. Stock mags are great too, and presently $15 a pop. Ordered a clear polymer alternative magazine for $10 each, but haven’t received/tested yet. Love the rifle, love the price. Nice work, PSA!

Very nice rifle, very well priced. I added an od green soviet arms grip, magpul cheek riser, and angled forgrip. Gat Monkey sling, alg trigger, and bolt hold open safety lever.Ac Unity magazine has built in bolt hold open and functions well so far.Shooting is smooth and level. It didn't cycle well at all with steel cased .223, which isn't super surprising. A fine addition to my collection

Fantastic carbine. Surprisingly accurate. I’m 400rds through it now with absolutely no problems, no marks on the extractor, locking lugs or trunnion raceways. Not many muzzle device options with the 1/2-28 thread with regular AKM sight block locking pin, I found the provided brake annoyingly loud so I got a CNC Warrior 4pc and torqued it on with crush washer, I chose the .30 caliber version banking it wouldn’t add any back pressure, and was correct; it didn’t add any. I found it a bit on the gassy side from the start, and an ALG recoil spring took out some of the snappiness. I swapped out the trigger and main spring, also, with ALG’s, total package’s a fast, flat, ACCURATE, pleasant little rifle to shoot. After discovering it’s true accuracy potential I don’t just consider it a cheap chopper, I went ahead and got a MI mount and ACOG for it.
