Much smaller than the regular one
I own both styles. This is way smaller. Too small.

Good layer
Fits great under helmet. Blocks wind pretty good. Stays up over nose. Wish the front side over neck, mouth and nose was thicker and softer.

Super purchase

Good for first layer
Got this hoping it would be warm enough to be the only layer during Montana’s extreme winter days (-20s and -30s), but it’s not. Great if worn under other layers while moving snow, altho I found it hard to breathe during heavy exercise (snowblowing and shoveling), so had to pull the mouth/chin cover down. If someone made an insulated GoreTex hood like this it would be ideal for this climate!

To small for big heads
It’s warm and well designed. It’s just too small for a guy with a big head. If you wear a 7 5/8 or larger this will give you a headache.
