Product Description

The Rāpaki has been a staple for years. The smallest is an easy go-to for day trips and weekend adventures.

Its PU-coated Oxford nylon outer and durable Kodra nylon base can handle years of daily use and the lining contains recycled content.

The zipped main compartment has plenty of internal organisation to keep your items within reach. It also has a padded laptop sleeve that fits devices up to 15".

Padded Air Mesh back and lumbar panels increase support while commuting or hiking, and the removable webbing hip belt is there when you need it.

If you use a hydration bladder, you can thread its hose through the top of the backpack, too.

Care

You are best to clean your pack with a natural, non-detergent soap and a soft-bristled brush
Suitable soap types are: pure soap, vegetable soap and Nikwax® Tech Wash®
Rinse the pack well and dry it in a well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight
Do not put your pack in the washing machine as this will void your warranty
Always try to keep the zip teeth clean — wash with fresh, clean water and lubricate with a silicon lubricant suitable for use on fabrics
Do not tumble dry, iron or dryclean

If you're not completely satisfied, you are welcome to exchange your purchase* with the original receipt for a full refund, store credit, or an alternative product, within 60 days. The returned product must be unused, and in the original packaging with all tags still intact. Footwear should be tested indoors and returned in original packaging. Lightweight, perfect day pack

A comfortable day pack with considerate touches - loop for water hose to bladder, padded back. Perfect size for 3L water, some snacks and a layer or two!

No hand strap or top handle

I have a 22L Kahuna backpack and am looking to upgrade. This appears to be the replacement as the Kahuna is now only available in the 18L which is too small. However, I have decided not to upgrade as this model has no handle at the top of bag. It's a real oversight as I use this when on public transport and also to hang the bag on the back of toilet doors when travelling. Please modify this model to include the top handle as you have on the Kahuna. The other hand strap on the front of the Kahuna is also very useful.

Perfect general purpose city and short-easy bushwalking backpack.

Perfect general purpose city and short-easy bushwalking backpack. Light enough to be in added to main pack for remote walking side-trips. Has several compromises that keep the weight down, but still has the quality MacPac feel. Particularly like the narrow size that allows my arms to swing freely. Seems to have good waterproofing, but complete waterproofing is a priority buy heavy-weight small plastic bags from Bunnings as liners.

Daypack by Macpac

I bought this for my husband for his birthday.
He had the same one or similar before which he wore out. Very happy with this day pack purchase on his weekly hikes in the Blue Mountains.

Teenage son loves it

I got this for my son as a day pack for a school camp. Since then, he has not used any other backpack. For camp, for cycling, for sleepovers, for the gym, for travel. It's spacious and hardy.
Love all the different colours it comes in too, though we'll have to wait for the medium blue to come back again. Have also bought one for my daughter now.

My Rapaki 22 L replaced a similar sized red one. I miss the two side pockets of the old one. And I miss the sturdier handle at the top of the pack. Apart from that, it’s the same. Not quite as good as the old one.
