The Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil eVent Compression Dry Sack compresses gear like dry suits or sleeping bags to one-third of their volume while keeping them dry thanks to the eVent waterproof membrane. Ultra-Sil nylon keeps this sack remarkably light for how strong it is, and the Hypalon closure makes sure your gear doesn't slip out. The three Cordura straps shrink everything with ease so you can hop down the trail knowing that you didn't sacrifice any space in your pack.

Essential for Kayak Camping and Touring
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do another of kayak touring. Getting your gear as small as possible is key. The more compact your gear, the more room you have in your kayak for food. The Sea to Summit compression bags are fantastic. I use a number of them for clothes, sleeping bag, tent, etc. Once fully compressed, I put the item into a Sea to Summit Big River Dry Bag to assure my gear stays dry in the event of contact with water. My pack has evolved over the years and has included more and more Sea to Summit compression dry bags. They are fabulous. Don't leave home and hit the water for an extended period without them!

These are hands down the
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are hands down the best stuff/dry sacks out of any company. Have tried a few others, but these are the thinnest and yet most durable. I feel very comfortable stuffing these to the brim and compressing with my body weight without damaging them.

Specifically I was looking for a water proof sack to protect the jacket from getting wet and a way to compress the jacket so it didn't take up a lot of room in my pack ...
