Perfect pack for my 14 year old son. Fits him perfectly at the smallest setting so it will last a long time. As a bonus love that it comes with a rain fly and he loves the gray color

This pack in brown is my dream color for a pack. REI please take note, or literally any pack maker, please make some amazing solid neutral packs, ideally browns like this one. I wanted to love it so bad. It fits so horribly. The adjustment back pieces hardly help. The hip belts don’t touch my hips unless I raise the shoulders far above where they should be. Shame on you Osprey. Make a high quality ultralight pack in this same solid brown / dark gray accent color way and it’ll fly off the shelf.

Great pack

I bought this pack for my son as he outgrew his old pack. It was a great price. It is just like my Atmos but doesn’t have as much storage up front. My so loves it and I loved the price.

great backpack for the price

Love the back support and large packing space. Minimalistic outer shell but it still has tie down points.

All Terrane Backpack

I had mine for 3 years now (Rook65), been through Europe and the Philippines. The size is just right for my needs and you can pack a lot of stuff on this one. It is made of very durable materials with clean craftsmanship. The carrying system really works, you can hardly notice the load on your back. Pockets are minimal but strategically located. Compatibility with the Daylite pack is a bonus. I have compared this to cheaper backpacks and you can see the difference by the materials and stitchings. It is priced right and I recommend it.

The new updated Osprey Rook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new updated Osprey Rook 65 Performs outstanding. It caries the load very well. While I used it on a winter day hike with only 25 lbs in it I feel it will comfortably carry about 35-40 lbs. The new Rook series packs 50 and 65 liter are well worth the price they retail for. If you are a well seasoned hiker or a beginner you can't go wrong with the Osprey Rook. I imagine the Women's Renn will preform as well .

Great first bag

I love this bag! The compartments are great and just the right amount I need. It is my first bag and so far have only taken it on a single trip. There are a lot of things I could have done a little differently. Still getting used to how to pack it correctly and had to make some adjustments in the fitting while on trail. But I don’t regret this purchase at all. It was all mainly on me.

Great Value!

Extremely comfortable and handled ~35 lbs beautifully on a short day hike. Design is a little stripped down I suppose, but nothing that handicapped me in anyway. Fit me great at 5'10" with a fairly wide frame.
