Great Tent, but door needs some attention
We got this tent to replace a large family tent (not a Coleman) that was getting old and leaking a ton when it rained. I had a smaller version of this tent and it always worked great, with the exception of the zipper on the door, which eventually broke, but only after many years of use. This tent is also great - it kept us bone-dry in the rain, has a lot of space for the family and the dogs, was easy to put up, and was easy to put away. The only issue I have is that the bar that supports the rain fly over the doors pulls the door so tight that the stitching was starting to pull out on the zipper on the first day of use. Again, the tent is great otherwise, but will be disappointing if the door becomes unusable so soon.

Excellent tent-fix zipper
This tent was life changing. I’m not a camper. I wanted something I could stand up in to get dressed and fit multiple air mattresses. Having a spot to run an electrical cord in and plug in a fan and coffee pot is amazing. I’m taking off a star bc the zipper is super annoying. It’s constantly getting stuck and you can’t zip/unzip one handed. I still love the tent and would recommend to anyone. Putting it together definitely took more than 5 minutes the first time lol. But set up/take down is super easy-once you get the hang of it.

Great tent

Very easy set up and tare down. The material is of great quality. I am confident this tent will last the numerous camping trips that are planned.

Very durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No doubt hands down the best weekend tent for my family. It didn’t take very long at all for myself and my wife to put this up. Our boys enjoyed the weekend camping experience and this tent made overnight so much easier. We didn’t have any rain but the ground was slightly wet from the day before and we didn’t even notice once inside. The inside heigh is great for us and made moving about unpainful.

big tent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Coleman 12 person Skydome XL tent is massive. It is suitable to fit four queen air mattresses. The poles are pre-attached and set-up was uncomplicated. Even though it took longer than five minutes. It took twenty minutes to complete. The doors are wide to walk into and out of. Inside the tent there is a sufficient amount of pockets for arranging items and a room divider for privacy.

Bigger than expected!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is bigger than I expected it to be but it is a good thing! I am so used to tents that are small and compact and it’s just not enjoyable sometimes. This tent is perfect for our family when we go on a camping trips. My kids and my nephews loved the space! The height of this tent is pretty tall as well. We can all walk comfortably inside and don’t have to hunch down. Setting it up is very easy as well. The materials used for this tent are high quality materials. I highly recommend it for bigger families or groups.

Very durable.

Not Perfect but has it's Perks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pro's: Has a separate canopy so you have the option of not using it during hot days or nights (it has a mesh covered roof). It's spacious, leaving you room for your supplies. Comes with a room divider and pockets for your misc. Plenty of headroom for most people. Con's: Tent poles are attached to the tent complicating packing the tent back up. The mesh on this tent is not of heavy duty quality. Also I would prefer steel connectors as opposed to plastic.

Affordable and Durable

Skydome lets you sleep under stars
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is BIG, make sure you plan to camp where pad sites are big enough for this bad boy. Assembly was pretty straight forward. I consider myself rather well-versed in tent assembly. Instructions were super simple, and once you do it once you're all set. In an effort to make the tent more 'pop-up' the poles come pre-connected to the tent. You can disconnect them but you may need some pliers (or stronger fingers than I had). I didn't disconnect them and was able to pretty easily fold it all back into the bag. The bag has a nice part which allows it to expand in size because the reality is that you'll never get it quite down to the original size and no one wants to fight w/ a zipper. Overall, construction appears solid, zipper are also good which I pay closer attention to. I also have to mention that I absolutely love the skylight effect of the mesh ceiling, so you can see the stars - lets you enjoy the very best parts of camping. Highly recommend.
