Needs additional parts for splitboarding
I wish I had known that you need an additional ?Prime Connect Split Conversion Kit? (not sold on backcountry at the moment) to actually use these for splitboarding. I think they meant to capture this with ?Quiver Connectors included, Connect Split Kit sold separately? but I wish this had been more clear because now I feel that I?ve spent 350 dollars just to have to spend an additional 150 dollars to be able to use these bindings. I think removing all bindings that require additional parts to be used for splitboarding from the splitboard bindings category would prevent this from happening to others. Alternatively just making it very clear that these cannot be used for the activity they are categorized as without additional parts would be ok. It feels bad leaving a negative review on bindings that for all I know at this point work well. However given that skiing is already very inaccessible, it might save someone else some pain. I?m not sure if Backcountry or Karakoram supplies the item descriptions but if something could be updated to make this more clear, I?d be happy to remove this rating.
