A new look for our flagship Compact range, with a soft grey and cyan drop stitch and a new split deckpad. This allows for water to run off more effectively and improves the 'packability' of the board. It allows the board to fold on the hinge, make it easier to fold and roll.

The increased length makes this board perfect for longer paddling adventures and paddlers travelling the world with their SUP. Designed with a more drawn out shape to increase glide, the 11'0 Compact is ideal for paddlers who want to travel and explore without limitation.

The board has a quad stringer tensioning system, giving maximum rigidity, while the central living hinge means the board can be folded and rolled into a super small package, making it the most transportable adventure SUP on the market.

Based on the ever-popular Red Paddle Co 11'0 Sport MSL, this board provides the perfect blend of stability and manoeuvrability. Its extended length offers a fantastic step up from an all-rounder, while also catering for slightly heavier riders. The ergonomic tubular handles on the Compact gives a cushioned, comfy grip when carrying your board.

Adjustable Cargo System

Now with a new and improved cargo system made up of three adjustable bungee straps. The bottom two straps are closer together, making it easier to store smaller kit items. A twin d-ring locking system allows easy adjustment and release and the small loop is ideal for water bottle storage. A reinforced cargo point so you can strap on enough cargo for any adventure.

How to store your board

Your board should be stored in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight and either rolled up and stored in the bag, If storing for a long time without use, make sure you ease the tightness of the roll so that there isn't lots of pressure going through the strap into the board, especially near the fin box if you have one of these. It may also be an idea to store the pump separately if you do have the space for this.

If you are hoping to keep your board inflated, we recommend keeping this on a flat surface or upright (not kept on a rack for a long duration) to prevent changes to the shape of the board. If you are not going to use it for a while you should reduce the pressure to below 15psi and keep your board in the cool and dry.

Before you pack your board away though, it is particularly important that you rinse everything in fresh water (Board/Bag/Paddle/Pump/Leash etc) and allow to dry completely before packing it away.

How to roll your board

Firstly, we recommend having your All-Terrain Bag open and ready to go, with your board deflated and your board strap nearby.

Place your pump at the nose of the board, leaving a little bit of room around the nose so that you can wrap this over the pump, this will help keep the pump secure and in place.

Roll the board around the pump, keeping the pump as square as possible with the rails of the board. The tighter you roll your board, the easier it will be to fit in your All Terrain Bag - but avoid putting too much tension around features like the fin box (if your board has removable fins).

Once you have finished rolling your board, grab you board strap and wrap this around to secure.

When you place your board in the All-Terrain Bag, you will find a strap attached to the inside of the bag. Fixing this around the board will help with board movement when out exploring.

Structural: the high-tensile drop-stitch fibres are designed to withstand pressures in excess of 22psi, meaning Red boards can be inflated to provide unrivalled stiffness and confidence, no matter the rider weight or prevailing conditions.

Laminate: the reinforced composite coating is bonded to the textile core using machine welding that applies heat and pressure to the inner PVC layer, saving over 2kg of adhesives and reducing cosmetic and safety concerns. Produced under low tension, this process creates a torsional stiffening effect when the boards are inflated, making MSL® stiffer at lower pressures.

Paddle board seems great so far, not sure about that bag though

Prior to owning this board, the only SUP boarding I've done was the odd time renting a board from a local shop for the day. All in all, I had done it only a 3 or 4 times before getting the Compact 11'. Those rental boards were all non-inflatable, hard boards. And at my novice level, I honestly can't tell the difference. I'm sure hardboards do have their own advantages, but this Compact 11' seems just as good to me. It's plenty stable, pumps up rather easily for the most part, and fits inside my small SUV no problem.

The 1-star I am docking is due to the bag. I've used it a handful of times, and getting it to fit back in the bag is a real pain in the bum. I see on here it looks as though the 9'6" and the 11' use the same bag, makes me wonder if the 9'6" fits a lot better and the 11' just barely fits. After only a handful of uses, seams are already starting to loosen and threads starting stretch quite a lot.
