From what I've heard, the RT-6 is a lot better bang for the buck.
Pros - I can really drive tacks with this when zeroing, haven't gone past 100 though. Vortex is a good company that stands behind their products lasting.
Cons - At the highest magnification, the eye box is incredibly small and finicky. I find the eye box to be so frustratingly bad that I want to just eat the loss on this thing and get a Vortex PST II that everyone says is very similar to the Razor HD in quality, but 1/3rd of the price of a Razor, maybe 2x the cost of this. The battery life sucks on the illumnation, there is no auto on/off and it's quite easy to leave the optic on overnight and wake up with a dead battery.

This has gone on my duty patrol rifle. I had been considering red dot but with my response area covering all manner of terrain and distances I felt I should have something that magnifies. This optic is performing perfectly.
It zeroed quickly and easily. The 1x is as fast as my red dot. The benefit of the magnification cannot be understated. The reticle is well designed and not overly busy. This durable glass is made for the work.

Glass is clear. Mounted it on my 5.56 AR and it holds zero fine through 100 rounds so far. Zero complaints. Would definitely buy another!

The Strike Eagle is an excellent entry level scope at a good price for all shooters. The only detractor is the tight eye box. I have four Strike Eagles, ranging from 1-6 to 3-15. All are well made, and track well. Good value for the money. EuroOptic is always a great shipper and is customer friendly.

The scope is amazing. Took two deer this opening rifle season with it. It is very clear and crisp. It felt like a Fast target acquisition scope to me. Shot them both within 3 to 4 seconds. Not to mention the LE/military discount, this scope is really worth it and I don’t really waste time with reviews.

A really good scope for the money I have other 1-8 scopes trijicon, eotech etc … and this Vortex 1-6 x24 is almost there when it comes to inexpensive optics… I recommend the Strike Eagle to new shooters who are on a budget.

First off, I would like to give Eurooptic a big thank you. I ordered this scope on Monday, and it was at my doorstep the following day. As for the quality of this scope it's on par with my Leupold VX3. And I just love the illuminated reticle too. Can't wait to get this scope dialed in at the range soon!
