Questions & Answers

I bought this with NP3 finish , should it fit in an Aero Precision M4E1 gen 2 upper 8" pistol length ? Mine seems too tight to install .

I measured my new Radian Raptor DS NP3 (won't fit in new Aero pistol upper) across the slot tabs and it measured .404". I then measured across the tabs of my PSA upper charging handle (no NP3) and it measured .400". So I tried the PSA charging handle in new Aero upper and it slid right in. Then I tried the new Radian Raptor DS NP3 handle in my PSA pistol upper and [it] slid right in. Lesson : PSA upper slot a little (unknown measurement) wider than Aero slot. Worked out ok since I have the suppressor on the PSA 300 blackout 8.5" upper. Good thing I kept my old inspectors gauges.

Will this charging handle work for a Big Horn Armory AR500 Automax rifle? The platform is based on an AR-10, but the bgc is very large. Expert Answer

The Radian Weapons Raptor-SD Ambidextrous Charging Handle is not compatible with a handful of AR10 rifles that use a proprietary charging handle design. I could not find any information regarding the charging handle of that rifle and whether or not it is proprietary to function properly in that rifle. I recommend contacting Radian Weapons to confirm compatibility.
