I managed wholesale supply house where we sold to HVAC techs and carried Nebo lights as an impulse itrm. I would put at a conservative estimate we took back about 1/3 of the Nebo products we sold. Buttons breaking, lenses falling out, battery carriers that seemed out of spec, etc. I do not think it is a bad product but shitty quality control. If it lasted past the first couple of weeks it would last forever but is the gamble worth it?

The other comments are cracking me up, using a cheap light for personal defense is sad, 190L is not "bright" the Streamlight TLR-1 HL is 800L. Ruining night vision is not hard, the frequency of the strobe is key to disrupting the brain. Jet had TLR-1 HL on here for $100, much better "deal" for a home defense device. Nothing like it falling off, excuse me, I need to put my light back on before you finish breaking into my house, crap, I just blinded myself, hold on......

I have quite a few Nebo lights laying around my house that I have rebuilt using parts from others that failed so I have quite a bit of experience with them (luckily Nebo never required us to send back failed items so I always had plenty to work with). Their products are so weird because you take two lights that didn't work and swap a battery carrier (if that is even what it is called) and a rear switch between the two and magically you have working lights again. Not sure they even test them before leaving the factory.

I fought and fought to stop carrying Nebo but was overridden by boss at the time. To me it seemed like bad customer service to sell crappy products and I was weighing my time of either doing claims against failed products or 'refurbishing' lights in the warehouse. These lights have huge margins and we did sell a lot so that is all my boss was worried about.

You are right about the lights flying off; I put one of their shotgun lights….on a shotgun. Two shots later it was on the ground. I have since placed that light using a different mount on my 10.5 inch AR pistol and it had held just fine.

We have worked for the same big non-profit organization in the past, HQ is in a funny looking building. So having to cobble something together from 2 or more devices is norm for us, can't say, STOP, this is not going to work, let's go home and work on it tomorrow. Some would look at it and toss it. Like some of the reviews for another flashlight posted today, they said it would not charge or work. The seller asked Did you remove the plastic shipping tape off the batteries? NO :( IT WORKS NOW :D One comment even complained about not having safety warnings.
The moron that didn't take the wrapper off the battery was an E6 submariner who worked on interior comms on the sub. https://www.amazon.com/Magic-BEAM-Brightest-Flashlight-LX-2/product-reviews/B01JAY67PI/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_viewpnt_rgt?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=critical&reviewerType=avp_only_reviews&showViewpoints=0&pageNumber=1...

I got one based on these reviews.
The on-off switch is garbage. It isn't going to last.
Put $100 into a streamlight - or just - Save up for something else. This is an o-k light, but it is worth exactly what you are paying for it.
Sorry that I got it.

I have this light on my home defense HK VP9 and I promise you won't be disappointed. This is a very well made, extremely bright light with a strobe setting. Works very well and has held up just fine under several hundred rounds down range. This is an excellent price as I paid almost twice this at a local gun shop. Good buy! May get another, wish they made a pig tail option for rifle use....although they do have rifle models. It would be nice to have the ability to use on either weapon.

got the 600lm version couple weeks ago I haven't test fired it w 10mm or 45acp+p ammo yet, to see how long it survives, because it's been raining since before ups dropped it off, it's a bright little bastard and I like this switch, if you lay it down proper side up it doesn't/cant come on by it self.
I love nebo lights, but I've had problems with switches surviving for more them the life of a battery, on the various nebo products that I've owned, at least in the fertilizer dust and salt water world that I subject em to

Fuck posting these amazon deals that last only minutes sometimes, yet alone fast enough for anyone to use them. It is purse bullshit. The amazon sellers must submit these themselves and then jack the price up 15 minutes later.

got this for my AR pistol. it wiggles a little bit on my rail and you cant turn off the strobe feature which gets annoying if you want to turn off and on the light real quick without it giving you a seizure at night.
