We now have our second GSP puppy, and the first one did not float or swim terribly well to start so I knew I wanted a life jacket for this one and did a lot of research. We have a pool and a pond and it only took three weeks for her to jump in. I am SO HAPPY with how well she can float and swim in this. She can safely swim on her own without assistance in this. She also seems comfortable enough to run around in it when she jumps out. It’s a little too bulky to have her wear full time when outside as it’s 98° (Florida) but soon it’ll be ok for her to wear on walks to the pond for spontaneous swims. She’s a 3mo 15lb GSP and I got XS. Fits well and she still can grow for a few months and fit it.

This is a top quality product! Our pup (Amstaff/boxer mix) has a weirdly shaped body that makes fitting difficult. The sizing guide was perfect (if between sizes, go down as recommended) and provided ample opportunity for adjustment. The slim profile made it super comfortable for a full day at the lake. It’s pricey but worth the cost and expect it to last a long time.

We have a German Shorthair who loves the water. After several misfires with other brands, this vest fits her body type and activity level very well. Size M works for her at around 45 lbs. Would give 5 stars if there was a better system to tuck away or dispose of excess webbing. As it is, you fold the excess back on itself and use hook/loop to close it into kind of a wad next to the buckles. Perhaps I’m too picky but aside from these bundles of webbing, the vest looks very sleek and form fitting.

Love the way it fits

I’ve tried other vests but this one fits better, it made more durable, and works well for different breeds and body types. Will be buying another one.

After testing and owning other dog life jackets, this has by far the best combination of features and safety. Dog swims great in it and her body position in the water looks the same or better as it did with other bulkier life jackets. She is noticeably less hot in this one on the boat and most importantly, it works great as a harness at the marina. The leash clip is strong-other premium jackets cheaped out with a plastic D ring but this has a metal ring and is very securely stitched. I also really appreciate how easy it is to get on and off, the high visibility color and reflective features, and the grab handle. The straps tuck away and no buckles or webbing rub on the skin. Really couldn’t be happier with this life jacket and my dog is happy wearing it!

I purchased the Large and Extra Large for my 95lb Dogo Argentino. The Extra Large was too bulky. My dog couldn't comfortably sit down bc it's a bit long but it is recommended for the +90lb dogs. So I kept the Large and sent the Extra Large back.

Had a sizing issue. Bryant was very quick to connect w me and fix the issue. Item is really well built n seems very durable. My fem 64 pound A. Bull Dog wears it fetching and swimming at the river. Definitely helped her to a more horizontal swim position w better buoyancy than her prev lifejacket. Design is not restrictive so she didn't seem to notice it on at all. Item comes w display placard that has more detailed sizing info w much wider range of measurements. I would suggest this info would be helpful for online purchasing when you can't try product on for size in-store. We have the yellow jacket and it looks awesome.

VERY GOOD, COULD USE A LITTTLE MORE FLOATATION UNDER THE NECK & CHEST. HER NOSE IS A LITTLE LOW TO WATER LINE. SHE IS WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER, NOT A TYPICAL WATER LOVER, BUT SHE DOES LOVE IT.
