Great light,sturdy, but programmability is a misnomer.
The light is great, the mount is great, and none of this will ever rattle off the rail. The 1000 lumen strobe is disorienting down range, the high mode reaches far and the low setting works like a standard flashlight. All this is exactly as it should...

Awesome for the price
I own a few streamlight flashlights and this being under 200 for a 1000 lumen flashlight with cloud defensive switch mount is a steal. It fits perfect on my AR 15 and is bright enough where I can shoot at night with ease.

With the Cloud Defensive Light Control System w/Streamlight ProTac Rail-Mount HLX, you get a high quality 1000 Lumen weapon light from Streamlight with a tape switch that you can depend on. Versatile mounting options for the switch let you install these Gun Mounted Flashlights from Cloud Defensive anywhere you want them. The cable management system of the Cloud Defensive Light Control System w/Streamlight ProTac Rail-Mounted Light keeps the cables from snagging and improves the look of your rifle. Add the Cloud Defensive LCS Tape Switch w/Streamlight ProTac Weapon-Mounted Flashlight for home security or tactical operations.
Cloud Defensive Light Control System w/Streamlight ProTac Rail-Mount HLX, 2S5-FLW-LCSRM
- Unique Patent-Pending design.
- The LCSmk2k features an Early Exit feature for the cables. This allows you to run the cable half-way through a given cable channel and then exit the bracket early if more cable slack is needed for a given setup.
- Indexing points machined into the clamping sections.
- Precision CNC machined from Certified 6061 aluminum for superior strength.
- Mil-Spec Type III hardcoat anodized finish for superior durability and wear resistance.
- Mil-Spec Manganese Phosphate coated screws provide superior corrosion resistance.
- Proprietary dual cable control channels machined into the 2 clamping sections of the mount. This allows you to run excess cable on either side, making the mount fully ambidextrous.
- Full-length aluminum base allows for optimum tape switch engagement. No give in the tape switch when depressed makes for easier and more positive light engagement. Shooter can fully use the entire length of the tape switch now.
- The LCS Series Locks up 100% to your weapon. Zero movement. Zero play. Virtually indestructible.
- Low profile design with heavily radiused/chamfered edges ensures comfort and ergonomic function.
- Low profile switch sits 0.052 inch above top edge of rail.
- Compatible with any Picatinny rail handguard.
