Comfy for low volume, skinny heel, and wide toe!

Good for low volume feet, wider toe, or bunion. Did a 4 mile walk on pavement yesterday and 6 mile hike today with rocky surface. Unbelievably comfortable. Nice tightening system for skinny heels. These are not stiff boots so don't know how tired feet might get on 8-12 mile hikes carrying a full back. Would like to have a lace hook on top instead of an eyelet as it's necessary to unlace to fit foot in. But....after trying 12 pairs of other boots and brands, these seem to be a keeper!

I have a hard-to-fit, high-volume foot with a narrow heel (a width) and wider (c width) ball of my foot. These boots feel a little tight over the ball of the foot and slightly wide through the heel, but didn't rub, so I went with them. I love the vibram sole - it's held up carrying a 25-30 lb pack for 8-13 miles in the mountains over several trips this year. The boot has also stayed in good physical condition except it stopped being waterproof after only a few trips. Not just a little leak or in really wet weather - the whole boot gets soaked walking in 2-3 inch snow. While I know these aren't snow boots, I still expect that a waterproof boot should be able to handle mild snow or very shallow (2-inch deep) stream crossings or boggy trails. The lacing system also seems like it would lace up tightly and hug the heel, but it's difficult to get tight and keep tight. The round laces get loose and become undone several times over the course of a day even with double knots. This led to a very sloppy unsupported feeling. They may just not be the right boot for my foot, but if you're looking for waterproof boots, beware that these may not stay waterproof.
My old boots were really shot and I did the dumb thing and purchased these last minute the day before a backpacking trip. I thought I deserved what I would get breaking them in that way. Wow was I wrong! 10 miles, 3K gain (almost all at the end), multiple water crossings, and an overweight pack on the first day. My feet may have been the only part of me that didn't hurt. They are wide up front and hug your heel in the back so you don't slide around in them. I feel very stable walking and they have great grip. Personally I like not having the hooks at the top because I always seem to get my laces caught walking. Taken out a couple since my first trip and am still in love.

Comfortable and cute hiking boots!

This is my first pair of hiking boots and I'm really pleased with them. I took them on an inaugural hike to Multnomah Falls and the surrounding trails. There was no need to break them in. They're well made, have a nice tread, and they form well to my foot. I'm looking forward to using them on my next hike.

Overall very good hiking boots

Got the green, love the coloring. Wider foot box is nice for hiking to allow swelling. I have narrow feet and I still like the way they look on me, have a sporty sneaker-like look. Very comfy, for shorter hikes. Unfortunately my feet get very sore on longer hikes. I would say by mile 6 I start to feel sore. I have high arches not sure if thats why. There doesn't seem to be much impact absorption. Soles are very grippy, I feel quite secure on downslopes. Ankle support not great due to the mid-level profile, my ankles roll a lot in these. Doesn't bother me. Main reason for 4 stars is the lack of support.

Okay but…

Cons- The “leather/fabric” at the toe has already been scuffed away in a small area (in just one back country backpacking trip.)
There needs to be more padding at the arch and ball of the foot (the balls of my feet were “tired and uncomfortable” after 4-5 miles.)
The heel cup rubs on the heel but if you loosen the laces it’s too loose.
Pros-
Very nice WIDE toe box!! I didn’t get a single toe blister and we backpacked 47miles. Normally, I get 1-3 blisters on my little toes …
Water proof- stepped in muddy water up the tongue many many times.
Wicking (my feet weren’t as sweaty)

Nice light hikers

I wore these boots all winter and love them. They have not leaked at all. I ride my bike or walk in them everyday. The toe box it wide enough for my forefoot. I have a bunion and these boots do not rub. I switched to a metatarsal insole which has been great since I walk so much. The laces can be annoying sometimes since they are actually too secure and not as easy to cinch. My sister-in-law tried mine on and then went out and bought a pair!

Great boots - one flaw!
I love these boots. They are comfortable, require little break-in time, and have great traction. They fit true to size, but are snug. They've held up well in the rain so far.
There is only one flaw: there is no loop on the back of the shoe to help you pull them on. This does actually make it VERY difficult to pull them on. It's almost embarrassing how challenging they are to get on. If it weren't for this, they'd get five stars.

Obsessed with this boot
I bought this boot on a whim, and I’m so glad I did, this is the most comfortable hiking boot I’ve ever worn. It required no breaking in and I feel like my toes have tons of room. I went a half size up to account for thicker socks when needed. I have worn these boots for 10+ mile hikes at a time and my feet felt great at the end of the day. I have also used them on the stair climber to train and they worked great.

Great new boots!

I ordered half size up. Fits great with thick socks. Walked 6 miles on trail the first time, and they were comfortable. Not quite as cushy as my Hoka hikers, but close.
