Description

The SAI 6 1-6x24mm Riflescope was built with ruggedness and versatility at the core of its design. The SAI 6 comes packed with features that other scopes of this class fail to include, notably the Rapid Aiming Feature. This proprietary reticle option is a large open “X” which is excellent for quickly acquiring and engaging targets at close range. The reticle also has a free-floating center cross with hash marks directly below to compensate for elevation as well as windage compensation holdover dots in the “Christmas tree” setup. The SAI 6 also has a VSOR rangefinder in the lower left-hand corner of the reticle, this feature allows the shooter to accurately estimate the range of objects with a known height. In addition, the reticle is in the first focal plane so the reticle shrinks and grows as you zoom in or out with your target for greater flexibility at any range.

I am very pleased with SAI-6. I had a Kahles K16i for several years and was very happy with it, but I wanted to try a FFP LPVO, as all my precision rifles now have FFP scopes. I bought a NF NX8 1-8, but I couldn’t handle the tight eyebox. I then switched to the SAI-6. In my opinion it’s a FFP Kahles 1-6. The eyebox is very forgiving, reticle is fast to acquire and illumination is bright. For the price and build quality, I think it’s best all around LPVO the market has to offer currently.

Very nice scope. Quality appears to be at least equal that of my Tango6T FFP 1-6. Glass is extremely clear and sharp. Good eyebox, easy to get behind. Zoom feature works smoothly. A throw lever is provided but haven't needed so far. Really like the reticle. Adequate if not great daylight brightness at max settings, but really not even needed. All in all, this is an excellent scope that appears to be of high quality with superb optical performance.

Pros: - Super clear glass - 1x is actually 1x not a 1.2x - Super smooth and easy to adjust magnifier ring, no throw lever needed - Comes with scope caps and a kill flash - Reticle is actually pretty intuitive with the markings - Daylight bright LED at 9 setting Cons: - MRAD adjustment model only - Reticle is a little busy at 6x
