Built for winter running or hiking on a variety of surfaces, EXOspikes™ traction is at home on icy roads, snow-packed trails, and everything in between. Twelve ultra-durable tungsten carbide spikes underfoot provide impressive grip on ice, and resist wear from rocks and other abrasive surfaces. All in a very lightweight package that can be easily stowed away in a backpack or jacket pocket.

  • KEY FEATURES
    • Concave Tungsten Carbide Spikes - Up to 100 times more abrasion resistant than steel, tungsten carbide spikes withstand prolonged use on mixed terrain and roads. Concave spikes deliver instant engagement on glare ice.
    • Flexible TPU Traction Matrix - Twelve strategically placed 0.29" tungsten carbide spikes are integrated into a tough traction matrix that's abrasion-resistant, lightweight and adapts to uneven terrain.
    • Ergonomically Shaped Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) Harness - Features patented reinforced eyelets for increased durability, attaches securely to a variety of footwear and retains its elasticity down to -22°F (-30°C).
    • Integrated Toe Bail - Keeps the toe from pushing through the front of the harness for added security while descending.
    • Raised Heel Tab - Provides a secure grip point on the harness for easy on and off in frozen winter conditions with cold or gloved hands.

I have not used them as of yet. I mean to take them to WY & the national parks in May. I needed a little less aggressive spike than the MicroSpikes that I really love! I gave them 4 stars because they are a little more difficult to get on my boots. May only used them for more casual shoes than hiking boots.

Perfect fit

Naturally, our full acre of skating rink finally melted the day before these arrived... But they seem perfect. I wear US size 10 men's, and the large fit perfectly over my shoes, both hiking and otherwise.

Exospikes changed my winter dog walking forever

Love the product!! Snuggly fits over my boots and allows me to safely walk on ice without hesitation. Changed my winter walking! I dog walk everyday regardless of the temperatures, ice or snowy conditions. Just a great product. After a couple uses, I bought another pair as a gift to another dog walking friend.

They are amazing!!!!

I can not believe the traction they provide on the ice. We have 3 dogs( 2 rescues) that have us out walking ALL the time regardless of the conditions. EXOspikes have definitely saved me from falling. To you all I am grateful!
