I have this on my Hellcat, I really wanted the Hex Wasp but nowhere to be found in stock, however there’s really not a whole lot of tried and true experience with it regarding reviews as there is the holosun 507k. So it was probably for the best. The lugs on the hellcat will not allow for a quick drop in without either filing them down or using an adapter plate. I purchased the adapter plate from chwps over modifying the slide. Not out of concern for integrity issues, but if in the future I ever wanted to resale, someone can’t use this against me to haggle the price. Doubt I’d sell it though, as its one of my most frequent edc or backup when I’m feeling froggy. I will say, the adapter plate route does raise the co-witness of the iron sights. You can see the front sight but only 2-3 millimeters at best. The red dot is great, no complaints at all. I’ve only had it installed on my optics ready hellcat for a little over 6 months, but it’s a solid device, bright in day light settings and fairly feature rich for such a small red dot. Plus, unlike the many competitors out there, built of polymer with polymer lenses and removal of the optics to swap batteries, this Holosun has them beat by that alone. No regrets.

Holosun makes great optics. I refused to buy an optic that I had to take off when replacing the battery. The multiple reticles make the optic customizable. The optoc going to sleep and instantly turning on when picked up mean I don't have to worry as much about battery drain. I used this 507k to complete my wife's carry set up. P-365 in .380, Phlster enigma holster, and the 507 k. Great set up and works well for her as a smaller woman.
