Product Info

The widest of Blizzard's new Anomaly series, the Blizzard Anomaly 102 Skis don't exactly take the place of the venerable Cochise but they'll appeal to the same skier. Super strong at speed, stable to a fault, but a bit easier to coax through choppy snow or bend into a tight chute, the 102 gets the job done as well as anything in the class. Strong skiers looking for a daily ride to handle any conditions under the sun should take a close look at the Anomaly series in general, but for variable snow conditions and anything over 8" the 102 is a winner.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Rocker Camber RockerSki profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.

Core

TrueBlend All Mountain CoreTrueBlend core of Beech and Poplar, tailor-made for each Anomaly model and each length.

Laminates

Two-Piece Upper Titanal Laminate for Grip and StabilityNo longer a single sheet of Titanal, the Anomaly series uses a two-piece laminate with a sheet of fiberglass in between the layers. The upper layer of metal resembles the shape of the FluxForm Titanal layer in the Rustler skis and the second layer fills in the gap in the center.

Lower Titanal LaminateA full width Titanal laminate is placed under the core.

Sidewalls

Full Length ABS SidewallsProvide direct energy transfer under the bindings and precision during the turn.

Base

Sintered Graphite Base

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
