Makes all the Difference
I have a small toy hauler (InTech Flyer Explore) that has an 8 gallon fresh water tank and a pump that I am able to direct to my Joolca hot water heater. Last year, I hauled the hot water heater and all components around separately. During the winter season, I got this installed, which did take some ingenuity for my particular camper, but I LOVE IT SO MUCH! It's now one less thing I have to haul and set up at camp, which is HUGE for me. The cover is a must have to go along with the bracket if you want to just leave your hot water heater on your rig full time. While the bracket does hold the water heater solidly, I would recommend making the bracket lockable to prevent theft.

I really like the Joolca HOTTAP. the ease of use is 10/10. every component in the system exudes thoughtfulness of design as well as build quality. if you need a portable hot water heater and can afford it, I recommend you giving this one a shot.

Mounted Hottap in box on our truck camper. Likes: Design, simplicity, durability, cost, customer service. Room for Improvement: Pressurized hoses fittings (gray) occasionally auto-disconnect unexpectedly squirting water everywhere. I would prefer a fitting on the end of the pump power cord other than the round/cylindrical automobile connector. Be aware that a moderate wind (10-15 mph) will blow out burner resulting in a cold (non-heated) shower water. You will need/want more water for your shower than you may think. 2 Gallons gets you a very quick, Navy shower. (Get wet. Soap up. Rinse off.) A “short” shower including hair washing requires 3-4 Gallons. A “real” shower requires 5+ Gallons of water. Comments: Per Joolca design, blue hoses are for cold water, red for heated water, so the shower nozzle should be red, not blue. For most applications, you are going to want the Joolca mounting bracket.
