So comfortable
I’ve hiked 4 or 5 times in these boots and they were comfortable right from the start. Most hiking boots have a breaking in period; these did not.

Had to return
Loved the look of them but when I received them I found that when walking, the shoe folds and digs into my foot. The sizing is correct but just didnt fit my foot shape correctly and was very uncomfortable. Had to return.

Great boot, too wide
I have been looking for new hikers for about two years now as I have oddly sized feet (Women’s 11.5 or 12, AA width) and was hopeful after hearing that Salomons fit narrow. This seems like a great boot, but sadly I had to return it. I was delighted to discover that the biggest size (11) had plenty of room in the toe (length) so I would say these fit a bit long (which is great unless Salomon can consistently offer 11.5 as an option). Unfortunately, despite their relatively narrow fit compared to other brands, they are still too wide. When I tightened the boot with my hiking socks on, the top of the toe box buckled and my foot was still sliding around inside.
Please, Salomon, offer an AA width for people like me. We deserve to have access to comfortable, stable hiking boots like everybody else.

Wider toe box, decent non-slip.
Second pair of these. I repurchased despite the lack of waterproofing. Very comfortable, required no breakin period. Nice and light weight, like a shoe.major flaw is the lack of waterproofing. They require additional protective spray weekly. Oh, also order 1/2 size down. Fit big compared to Speedcross.
