Exped's Pack Poncho UL is an ultralight poncho with an integrated pack compartment for packs up to 100 l. With smart pack attachment loop and 2 packing options. It has fully taped seams, single hand adjustment of anatomically shaped hood with protective brim, and a large internal pocket that doubles as a packsack. It also includes a practical snap button strap for the pack grab handle that allows the poncho to be slipped off during use without the need to store the poncho. A snap button on the sleeves prevents these from slipping upwards. There are 2 storage sizes, flat in the integrated pocket or compact in the small stuffsack.

Just makes sense

Recently went on backpacking trip where it rained 3 out of 4 days. Everyone had rain jackets but I had a poncho. Mongrel Rain Protection, but best of breed

I recently purchased this "poncho" assuming that it was just that, a light weight poncho. After opening the package it was evident that the "poncho" was as much a cagoule as it was a poncho. I have had my fair share of stoves over the years. Nothing compares to the ease of a Trangia. Old school? Yes. But they work every time, regardless of weather. Get one. As for the Trangia cookware, these pans are great for nonstick cooking. I have scraped clean enough aluminum pans in my past. Non stick is the way to go.

Almost perfect

I like the color, the weight and the ease of use with a pack on. I do wish the sleeve length was greater as hands get cold fast and as a 5 foot 5 gal my lower arm is not well covered by the poncho even without a pack on.
