Sig Sauer brings magnum-class cartridges to the Cross family with the Cross Magnum! Chambered in the heavy-hitting .300 Win Mag, the Cross Magnum comes equipped with numerous upgrades to improve the Cross platform’s unique features. The receiver has been redesigned to allow the user to swap barrels while keeping the scope and picatinny rail mounted – this ensures the optic’s original zeroing remains the same after a barrel change. The receiver has also been optimized for maximum cartridge length capabilities, and is capable of extending out to .300 PRC. The folding stock’s hinge has been improved to make folding the stock easier, provide better stock retention, and strengthen the lockup. The 24” stainless steel free floating barrel is topped with a radial compensator which cuts down on the .300 Win Mag’s heavy recoil by 45%, but can be replaced by any muzzle device that accepts 5/8x24” threads. Other improvements include a full length ARCA rail on the hand guard.
