Pros
I own the LSS CF in .457 with the air force scope. I am shooting sub 1" groups at 100 yards with a variety of ammo weights. My gun really likes a 250 gr bullet. I only shot twice before refilling the tank. With the lighter 250 gr bullet I am at 1/2" groups all day.
Cons
I would like a larger tank for three of four shots.
This gun has so much potential and could be really cool, but with all the poor design features, i cant recommend it.
Pros
Looks good
Cons
Very long and heavy. Some poor design features, mounting rails dont fit most standard accessories without an adapter. The bi-pod that comes with the gun keeps falling off and dented the suppressr. No matter how much i tighten, it won't stay on, (poor adapter and mount design). Attaching the tank to the gun is a very poor design. Stock tank only good for 3 good shots before you need to refill again. The air gage is on the opposite side of the air tank fill port, so you have to lay the gun on the air hose side putting kink the hose to be able to read the pressure gage. The stock shoulder rest very poor design.
Would recommend 100%
Pros
Love everything on this .457cal beast of a air rifle 100 yard groups easy
Cons
Had to order a male to male 1/8” to fill tank
Pros
I am truly amazed with the power of this rifle!
Cons
That I only have one Texan.
Pros
This is an amazing rifle. Construction quality is top notch. The power downrange is massive. Hits as hard as a modern BP rifle or high power pistol but with much better accuracy and a lot less noise. Your powder burner friends will be amazed. Trajectory of a 320gr slug is almost flat at 100yds. I'd recommend everyone getting aquatinted with this rifle should have a couple sessions with a shooters chron and a buffet of various slug weights and dimensions. I've been flinging BTHP lead 300-350gr with great results ringing steel and zeroed on paper at 100.
Cons
1) There does not appear to be any way to relieve pressure or reset the firing hammer spring after opening the breech. That is, if you open the breech to inspect the chamber or bore then close the breech the gun will be charged and ready to fire. So the only way to reduce risk of accidental diacharge is to dry fire the gun which is loud and could be dangerous. Checking the firing chamber or magazine is a standard safety habit most owners of firearms are familiar with and practice... So keep this in mind when setting up or inspection.
2) The owner's manual should be improved. For such a high quality and technologically advanced device there is no reason the owner's manual can not be more detailed. Helpful information for new owners might be cleaning intervals, cleaning proceedures, recommended or discouraged cleaning solutions.
Pros
Can't believe how powerful this gun is! Easy set up with in a hour. Spot on accurate. Definitely recommend this gun set up. I placed two steel barrels in a line and a board hoping to find my fired 200 gain projectile but it passed through both barrels and a board at 50 yards. Crazy for a air rifle.
Cons
Only thing I dislike is the adapter piece for the bi pod set up seems to wiggle a little bit
Pros
This combo is the cat’s meow!!! Easy to get everything setup and putting rounds down range in less than a hour. The customer service at Airgun depot is A1!!!!!
Cons
Nothing
