Description

The Benelli M4 is a well-renowned tactical shotgun with a reputation for its ruggedness and reliability. So reliable that it has been used by the United States Marine Corps since 1998. The M4 utilizes the A.R.G.O (auto-regulated gas-operation) gas system, a unique system that uses two stainless steel, self-cleaning pistons that that bear directly on the bolt assembly. This brilliantly simple, ultra-reliable action eliminates complex mechanics found in many comparable semi-automatic shotguns that tend to foul up faster and are more difficult to clean. This means the A.G.R.O system allows the Benelli M4 the reliably cycle nearly any type of 3” shell without having to make adjustments, from the heavy 00 buckshot to light field loads. The stock is made from a durable poly/rubber material and is available in the typical shotgun stock design as well as a pistol grip version. Both versions come with a receiver mounted picatinny rail for the installation of an optic and a sling mount for an ambidextrous shoulder sling. With its reliable A.R.G.O gas operating system and its ability to cycle almost any type of 3” shell, the Benelli M4 has a multitude of applications ranging from home defense, protection in Grizzly bear territory or law enforcement/military usage.

Great sale from EuroOptic. The gun was shipped fast and the sales staff very professional. Now for the gun: BEST SHOTGUN EVER. It has everything going for it, except one thing, price, but I guess you get what you pay for. The gun is extremely reliable (did I mention it is very reliable), it looks great, feel is perfect, weight is right for me, very easy to handle, well.... the gun is just perfect. Over the first 3 days, I put over 400 rounds of low brass bird-shot and not a single failure while others running Remington 1100’s and Mosseberg (500’s), and other brands and ALL had multiple failures (shells not ejecting, feed problems, etc.), but not the Benelli, it just kept on firing. I know my Benelli is new and the others older, but not a single failure out of the box!!! My only complaint is that the Cerakote finish at the muzzle end is discoloring a bit most likely from so many shots, but that is not the gun’s problem as I need to remove the flush choke that came with the gun and run an extended choke. If you want a shotgun that will not let you down, get an M4 and if its a bit pricey, save a bit and get it. You will not be disappointed. Next project is to replace the 5-shot tube with 7-shots and a couple of other parts and make it 922(r) compliant - Then it will be the "Bomb"

Bought from euro when they had a free vortex red dot included. Euro shipped asap and perfectly, which is why they often get my repeat business. The m4 is a beast, very solid. Working on getting ammo now, but it is just so much beefier than the 1301 I have. Do I want to lug the m4 20 miles? No, but that's not the intent anyway.
