Why We Like The Targhee III Mid Leather Waterproof Hiking Boot
The Men's Targhee III Mid Leather Waterproof Hiking Boot is Keen's answer to any trail that's considered difficult. Not only does it have the stability and support for hiking rough terrain, but it also has the waterproof, breathable protection required for hiking in variable conditions. The leather exterior is as rugged as the mesh lining is cushy and breathable, and Keen treated the interior to reduce odor buildup over time. The rubber sole features multi-directional lugs to ensure traction on the downhill as well as the uphill.

I love this boot
I have needed a new pair of hiking boots for a while and I wanted to make sure they ticked off the right boxes: water resistent/proof, good fit, solid base. This boot does that. I used them to hike around in the snow for an entire weekend and my feet never got wet or cold and I felt very stable the entire time. Cannot wait to get some mud and dirt from more trails on these.

Good boot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the fit and look of these boots. This is my third pair. The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is durability, they are not the most durable.

Nice fit poor waterproofing
I really like how comfortable they are. But the waterproofing is a total failure, suck up water like sneakers. The tread is also starting to separate on both.

Not original fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toe box is not as roomy as my original Keen Hikers. Still decent daily walking in the woods shoe!

The only shoes I wear
These are the only shoes I've worn for at least 3 years. Comfortable, durable, and light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to exchange them for Voyager shoes if possible. Never worn

💯 worth it, 10/10 would recommend
A really good boot! After 4yrs of no easy service in a wide variety of environments; mountains to swamp. The only thing I’ve replaced is the laces. They have maintained their waterproof and comfort very well. I would 100% recommend these to anyone. Look forward to updating to the IV even though these have plenty of life left.

Disintegrating boots!
I bought a pair of Keen Targhee III boots. After a few weeks of light use the boots developed cracks in the material. The boots continued to rapidly disintegrate. I have previously heard good things about the Keen. These boots were comfortable during the very short time they were usable but the quality is absolutely horrendous!

Shoe Falls Apart
I have bought 2 pairs back to back years and they keep falling apart on me in less than a year. It’s unfortunate because I like them but I can’t keep buying a new pair of boots every year.
